This was my first time renting a house for a vacation, and for the most part, it was a fantastic place to call home for almost 2 weeks. The location is about perfect, as it's not far from any of the major attractions in Orlando, but then is also on the correct side of Orlando to make it easier to go to Tampa for a day.It cannot be understated how much it helps everyone's attitudes to have a separate bedroom for each kid, and that there was space to spread out during down times! The house was clean on arrival, and felt very homey. I really liked the fact that the pool was salt water instead of the typical chlorinated water, as multiple members of my family are sensitive to chlorine. There was one evening when we had to call the property management company at 8PM because the A/C was resetting itself and not running, and they came out in about a half hour to take care of it, so I was impressed with that speed of responsiveness.Would I want to stay here again? Definitely. That's not to say that everything was perfect, but most of the imperfect items are relatively minor maintenance issues that would be fairly easy to correct:-ripped screens surrounding the pool-Some of the cookware was obviously damaged (bent) by previous renters, and these pieces should be replaced-Nearly all of the dining room chairs were wobbly with loose screws, and while none of them actually broke, we were nervous that any one of them might break at any time we were using them for meals.
