First off I have to say this unit was beautiful, roomy, and very cozy. The beds were extremely comfortable and every room full of modern conveniences like large tvs and charging areas. The bedding, towels, etc were lush and I felt like I was getting what I was paying for.
The down side- tThere were 2 elevators. One was broken the whole time we were there which was one night and the other extremely slow. There was a large volume of people coming in and out so we took the stairs a few times.
Despite that annoyance, the place is super close to Universal (our destination) and it was so nice I was hoping to stay another night but it was already booked. I was super bummed about that until 10pm rolled around. Just as we were about to go to bed a concert or rave across the road started. When I say it was loud, I am talking-windows shaking, canât hear my husband in the next room insanely loud! Not only that but several people in the complex began screaming expletives off of their balconies because of the loud music. I waited about an hour until I texted the owner who said they were unaware of the disturbance and to call the front desk. The front desk said they had already called the cops and could do nothing else. So finally around 12:30am things quieted and we were able to get to sleep by 1 am. Needless to say we did not sleep very well to take on the theme park the next day.
My advice to anyone is to check the events at the nearby hotels here first before booking.
