I stayed at the west gates when I I was younger and know I’m finally back as an adult. This place hasn’t change much since I remember it, we stayed in the 2600 building fully renovated room it was absolutely wonderful the only downside is if you want room service to come and clean the room they won’t do it if your staying 7 days or less we stayed for a week and needed the floor swept from us eating and such they said they will come and clean for a charge if they know there not going to clean the room they should supply a broom and dust pan in the room for free. If you need something prepared to wait 30 minutes to and hour for it. They are really slow with service here. Over all my experience here is a 8/10 The draft bar has amazing food wish they had a little more iteams on the menu but over all food is amazing

Overall it was a good stay. I would recommend this place especially for the price. I like that they had shuttle service to and from parks. The only negative was that the only way to cut through to my room from lobby was through the pool area. If the pool area was closed due to storms could not go through and needed to walk all the way around. Hotel should add path or leave pool area open with a few closed signs on gates to let people know pool was closed for swimming, but would still allow people to pass through.

My son and I stayed here for our Universal vacation. I was able to buy discounted tickets to the park right on the property. Our room was clean and updated. It looked way better than the out dated photos. The pools are convenient. They have ample parking spaces and I highly recommend renting a car because the villas are driving distance from the check in building. They do offer golf cart pickup to drive you where you need to go on the resort. I didn’t like that the water park wasn’t included with the stay. It’s currently $25/pp. that’s even for children — download the app to get the loyalty discount.

My property was building 80. This is my first worst experience, my room was old, pretty dark and like 15min walking away from de lobby with limited transportation. If your hurry and ask those people with golf cart to take take, some of them are mean. Elevators are scared. My room telephone was not working There was not tv remote LOL Only if you reserve with tour around where you waste almost all day and they try to buy your a property, thats the only way they will give you a good room, if not they will give you the worse.

There a lot activities for families and food if you don't want to leave the property. You do have to pay a membership fee and for the water park. It's a timeshare resort.

I loved my stay for my birthday! Went to the serenity spa for a massage and it was lovely. Ask for Suki! The only complaint I have is that the none of the bars to the pools were open at all and we were there for 3 nights. But other than that, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend and come back again! Loved the jacuzzi tub as well

The resort is pricey even for owners I spoke to.The website say 7 pools but the resort water park was not free at all even if your a guest or owner. Not cool. Also, I was double charged and had to request my $ back. It sucks because I have to wait 5-7 business days. The bathroom sink was clogged and the living room light didn’t work. I reported it and my stay was for 5 days and nobody came to check it or fix it. But overall customer service and check-in was great no complaints. My family and I enjoyed ourselves and I can recommend this Resort.
Bar near the pool was a hit.
Hot tub was awesome.
