I stayed here with my 7yr old son while visiting friends in the area. We really only slept and showered here- but it fit the bill perfectly. Amazing location, comfortable accommodations, and Rubi was a super responsive host every step of the way. Would love to stay here again!
The keypad was hard to see & use. I expected a king size bed. I am 6â4â & 250# My wife had to sleep in the other bed. It needs some chairs in the living room & a night light in bathroom for getting up in middle of night.
We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is roomy, clean, and in a really nice neighborhood just minutes from Rollins university, down town shops, and restaurants. Rubi, your host is very nice and responded to any questions we had in just minutes. We would recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a quiet , private stay.
Owner, Rubi, was very responsive and helpful. The area is quiet and in a very upscale area. We were able to make meals easily. Stores are nearby as well as downtown Winter Park only a few minutes by car. We slept well, though we both found the bed very firm. Staying here was so much better than staying in a hotel.
Quiet, quaint space for a short trip. Had everything we needed for our stay. Noticibly clean smell and presentation. Property owner was prompt with communication.
This was a great location since I needed to be close to Rollins College. The neighborhood is gorgeous and the room was spacious and comfortable for what I needed.
The location is excellent for us. It is close to downtown Winter Park, extra ordinary neighborhood, clean, walking distance to a Lake Knowles where we took a walk every morning before completing our business for the day. We always spend Christmas in Winter park and looking forward to staying here again.
This property was clean and in a beautiful neighborhood. I gave the property an overall 3 star rating because the cottage itself was missing all of the add-ins that would make it comfortable and inviting. It was very bare inside and out. Outside there was no inclosed lanai space to have morning coffee or to enjoy the evening hours on outdoor furniture and there was a constant rusling in the bushes day and night which made it a little frightening . Inside the property had all the basics that a hotel suite has. The floors were cold, hard tile. There were no area rugs, arm chairs or other home-like touches. There was just one small garbage can in the entire house and no garbage bags anywhere. The beds were very basic, no table lamps or tvs in the rooms. The living room couch was a loveseat and there was no other furniture to sit and relax in. The bathroom was tiny and very narrow, difficult for a family to get in and out of and to share. The location although nicely situated between gorgeous mansions was more than a walk away from Park Ave ( we tried to walk the distance, but after 40 minutes had to turn back). I hate to write such a negative review, but I truly expected more given the location in Winter Park. I hope this review helps future vacationers make an informed decision.
We really enjoyed our experience in this super private bungalow, very central to Winter Park. It was exceptionally clean and we had plenty of space to hang out. Thanks Rubi!
Thus was my 2nd time staying here and it was once again a delightful treat. Just beautiful in the most exquisite location...I highly recommend this property. You won't be disappointed...đ
