What a lovely weekend. We stayed in the Buttonbush room, the last one available (I’m surprised there was a room available!). Room was spotless and we arrived late so Judy left a cute series of post-it notes guiding us to the right room :)
Half a mile from a beautiful beach with chairs, towels, and umbrellas available is excellent. Breakfast was delicious and everythinf made in-house. We had a glass of wine in the greenhouse in the afternoon provided by the inn. Enjoyed our conversation with John, very friendly hosts that make you feel welcomed and at home. If we return to the cape would definitely opt to stay here again!!
There were no locks on the doors which made it impossible to leave any valuables in the room. There was no television in the room. I had to use my laptop, but the internet was sketchy. Fortunately someone had a Comcast hotspot nearby.
The room had a musty smell and I have a mold sensitivity so I did not sleep well at all.
The breakfast was adequate, but not exceptional.
We have had much better experiences at other bed and breakfast inns on the Cape.
I stayed only one night, yet I can't stop telling people how great it was! Family run and it felt it. I checked in late and there was a note on the desk and sticky notes guiding me to my room. How's that for personal service?!
The owners and staff go out of their way in welcoming you into their B&B. They have a little happy hour with wine and snacks where you can chat with them and meet other guests. The breakfasts are scrumptious! Our room was spotless and bed was made by the time we came back from breakfast that is included. Felt like we were visiting old friends and meeting so many wonderful people. We will be back!!!
What a lovely beautiful cozy place, highly recommend. Everyone in the property are friendly and helpful, you feel like home..
I definitely will be back soon
This was a different experience for us. It’s like stepping back in time where you are treated as a “guest” in every way. It was a good overall experience. Very clean and very nice owners. Thank you!!
we were happy & comfortable about everything during our stay...
the location (it is very close to one of the best beaches), the rooms, the garden, chairs & towels for the beach, etc. etc...
thank you Cindy, John, and lovely dog Louie :)
The Nauset Inn is beautiful and is very close to Nauset beach. The inn keepers treat you like an old friend the first time they meet you. John and Cindy are great people. The breakfast is spectacular!! This will be an annual stay for us. If you go, you’ll be glad you did.
Beautiful and restful, this inn felt more like staying with a close relative. Homemade breakfasts awaited us each morning before we got suggestions and recommendations for the area. The staff was knowledgeable and incredibly kind. The location was a half mile walk to the beach and a quick drive to the local watering holes and exquisite cuisine of city of Orleans.
We chose the Nauset House In to celebrate our 15th Wedding Anniversary and could not have been happier. The Inn feels like home! Our Inn Keepers were gracious, generous and informative. We arrived shortly after a fierce lightening storm that had fried their internet modem and router. They replaced it and got it back up and running by the evening while not missing a beat in terms of service throughout the day. The relaxed atmosphere of the Inn made it easy to unwind. Our room, "Rosebud", was perfectly secluded and full of light. We loved every minute spent in it. Our hosts even had a bottle of wine with card wishing us a happy anniversary waiting for us at check-in! It was perfect! We will most assuredly return!
The inn was the cutest place I’ve ever stayed at, and I travel a lot. Met some of the nicest people. The walk to the beach wasn’t too bad either. The breakfast that was served which was included in our stay was more delicious than any other breakfast spots in the area. Will definitely be back!!!!
A lovely oasis just a half mile from Nauset Beach. Rooms are simplle and small, though comfortable and clean. Hosts are most pleasant, helping and accommodating. Delicious breakfast starts your day right!
It was lovely. We are going back next year!! Staff was genuine and friendly, home cooked breakfast was great. The cottage was relaxing. Just what we wanted.
Stayed for three days to attend a wedding. An excellent apartment with lots of space, moe than we needed really. One shower in the master bedroom served us all. Breakfasts comprehensive with hot local cooking. They helped with printint out boarding passes before we left. A local wedding in the hotel turned down the misic at 11pm which was considerate
We only stayed one night but they accommodated our late arrival graciously and served a great breakfast in the am
Lovely inn, beautiful grounds close to beach Will definitely return
We decided on a last minute getaway and was able to book the last available room at The Nauset House Inn. We had no idea we would be in for such a treat! The inn is lovingly tended to by Jim and Cindy and their friendly staff. Nauset House Inn is over flowing with charm, grace and coziness! The grounds are delightful. There is a gorgeous rustic greenhouse, plenty of lounge chairs and picnic tables and a sweet flower garden ...where they pick the fresh bouquets for your room and use the edible flowers as a garnish on your breakfast plate. The rooms are spotless (as is the entire inn) and the complimentary breakfast is delicious! No detail is over looked. Beach chairs, beach towels and a shared refrigerator are just a few of the details to make your stay effortless. It's a short walk to Nauset Beach. And there are no televisions so it really is the perfect getaway. And least I forget the best "amenity", Louie, the dog. Seems like Louie was born to be an inn keeper...sweet and mellow and ready to make your stay at the Nauset House Inn perfect!
