Stayed for 3 nights in early October. The man in the office was polite and helpful with dining places and other things you wanted to know about. You could tell the motel was renovated not that many years ago. Our room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable. If you enjoy wine they had a corkscrew and real wine glasses on a tray with the ice bucket, I liked that. The continental breakfast had everything you need for a good start to your day, even fresh sourdough bread to toast. That was a first at a motel and definitely a treat. We would stay there again in the future.
Looks a bit oldish from outside but room was clean, updated and had everything we needed. Beds were super comfortable. The place was very quiet in mid October mid week. Peter, the manager, gave us a few good local tips. Continental breakfast included. I would return.
This place was just renovated so nicely. Rooms super clean with great bedding and the landscaped grounds looked so nice. It surprised us with how nice of a place it was! And I was also able to walk to get coffee and breakfast as I didnât wake up early enough for the Innâs breakfastđ
The second day we told the hotel the toilet was leaking on the bathroom floor. It was obvious a quick-fix of sloppy caulking was done. The next morning the bathroom smelled like an outhouse and the toilet had leaked water on the floor again. Fortunately we were checking out that day. I wouldnât stay there again.
Rooms were updated and clean. We used the pool, which was also clean and in great shape. About a 10 minute walk into Orleans where there is plenty to do. Would stay there again.
6 night stay for a reunion with friends. The Olde Tavern is a long time Orleans fixture and Very comfortable traditional motel. Nothing trendy or fancy, but well maintained and clean. All basic needs fully met. The proprietor and staff are super friendly and accommodating. Very nice continental breakfast spread was better than expected. Good coffee too!
Great location and a rare good value on the Outer Cape
Our room was very clean with soft towels in the bathroom. The Keurig with k cups was much appreciated. The owner was very accommodating and the breakfast was lovely.
Though an older motel, this facility and its amenities have been thoroughly renovated and updated; everything was was nicely done, very comfortable, clean, and convenient to downtown Orleans.
The room had a lot of space and didn't feel cluttered with furniture. The decor was beautiful and relaxing. We only stayed one night but I can see us coming back again for a longer stay in the future.
