This hotel was in the perfect spot if you're visiting Universal Studios Japan. The staff was very friendly and the location was excellent for subway, shopping, and theme park visits. This hotel was literally outside of the subway stop for Universal Studios. You walk out one direction and you're at CityWalk. You walk out the other direction and you're at your hotel. The lobby have plenty of options for food and even a shopping center for the kids. The hotel is right on the port so you have fresh air all day and a nice view of the water. I love this hotel and would definitely stay again.

Kids love it. Accommodation is clean and conveniently located to Universal Studio. The only downside is that we have to transfer to Osaka or Shin Osaka every time when we explore other part of the city or nearby city

Perfect USJ budget location

For a foreign family coming to visit Universal Studios Japan, it was incredibly convenient and easy. I would highly recommend.

Great location and spacious room

Universal Port hotel was wonderful. The room was spacious and super comfortable. Bathroom was huge with different room for the toilet and another for the shower/tub. Dining options in the hotel were limited but super close to City Walk for a wide variety of restaurants. Less than 5 minute walk to Universal Studios Japan. Staff was friendly. Upgrading to Ocean room was nice for view and ambience however don’t upgrade for drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Drink menu is extremely limited, hors d’oeuvres consist of a small tray of cookies and a few chocolates. Very close to train station too. Would definitely stay there again.

Great hotel rooms! Rooms are spacious and comfortabl, also bigger and less expensive than Park Front Hotel. We had 3 adults, my child is 11 yo and is now an adult, and 1 child. Conveniently located near Universal City station and Universal Studios. It rained, was cold, and very windy when we arrived in April so pack and dress accordingly. Lawson's next door in adjacent hotel, Port Vita. The food at Universal Port was also very good. My kids really liked to Ramen and it was very affordable. The Loco Moco and Yakisoba was also very good. If you're going to do laundry there are facilities on site. Takes 100¥ or download the washer/dryer app. Dryer and washers also have locks so you can secure your clothes. Just don't be late to take it out, others or the staff, will take out yoir clothes and leave it in a bin, wet or dry. I recommended booking a massage during the time youll be doing your laundry so you will not waste time while you're there. Just ve mindful about the dryer times. Cost to do washing and drying at Universal Port is less costly than at Hilton Tokyo Bay. Hilton Tokyo Bay laundry facilities are bigger than Universal Port.

Very convenient to USJ and the USJ city walk. Staff was very helpful. We had an emergency and we had one staff member (unfortunately we didn't get her name) looked up and called every hospital that was open and available during the weekend. She was successful and applaud her for it however our daughter decided she didn't need the hospital and was feeling ok.

The location was great. It’s very close to USJ, train station and City Walk shopping. The hotel lobby was nice. The hotel room was very spacious. Everything was very clean except the carpet seems a bit dated.

Hotel is perfectly located for access to Universal Studios, but I chose it for easy access to Expo 2025. Turns out the JR line is a short walk away and connects quickly to multiple lines for access to all of Osaka. It was a quiet and comfortable stay in the hotel.
