Overall the hotel was good. It is relatively close to Shin Osaka station but would allot more time when leaving to catch the shinkansen as it is a very busy station. If taking the subway, exit#7 is the closest to the hotel to get on/off Amenities are sufficient. They have coffee on the reception floor and also has water dispensers on each floor which was a nice touch. The only negative is the high step to get to the bathroom inside the room.

Good location, inadequate space even for Japan

Hotel is conveniently located close to a train station. Had room with double bed and it was extremely small. Nowhere to place suitcases for our 8 day stay except against a wall. Very limited space to put belongings. I thought our Tokyo hotel room was small but this was even smaller. Considering how much of a take away culture there is here, the garbage can provided was inadequate. Trying to be eco-friendly and not have them clean room everyday, but we just wanted someone to empty the trash bin. Bed was against the wall so if partner needed to get up in the middle of the night, had to climb over the other person. Restaurant located at street level next to hotel. Ok for a 2 -3 day stay but would choose another location for longer stays.

The only reason to stay here is for the close proximity to shin-osaka station. Literally no other reason. The hotel was dirty, some of the staff were rude, mostly at the restaurant, there were a few waitresses who were kind, others not so much and they gave the impression like they were babysitting you. Front desk was nice. Housekeeping was terrible overall. They could not understand english, spanish, or japanese. They kept not cleaning up my trash, i had to ask a front desk assistant to come and pick it up, which i was embarrassed to have to ask. The hotel is in serious need of renovation, and potentially change in management.

Hotel is very close to Shin Osaka stn. Use exit 6 as it is near the hotel. Room is nice and clean. How, please be aware the room key is needed to acess your floor. It cannot be used to access any other floors except 1 and 2. Also, you cannot call another guest room with the phone in your room. You’ll need WhatsApp or something similar.

Very small rooms. It makes you claustrophobic. There are NO closet or storing space inside the rooms. You are left with tiny space besides the bed. Room carpet was full of hair from previous guests. If ur pillow fell on the carpet and you picked it up it had tremendous number of different hair attached to it. The bathroom are extremely tiny. The staff is very very nice and they try to help you as much as they can.

Average Experience for Two

It was an average experience at this hotel. The perk is that it’s close to Shin Osaka. It’s much smaller than our first hotel in Ginza. It was hard to maneuver with our luggages. The AC was really loud overnight and we can hear other people in other rooms. Our toilet/bidet also stopped working after the first night. We just couldn’t bother with asking for help. Service was good. There’s a coin laundry which was convenient, although the drying only option doesn’t fully dry our clothes so we had to hang a bunch of items strategically in our small hotel room with the 4 hangers we got. Overall, it was an average experience.

Super convenient for a one night layover in Osaka. 3 minute walking to Osaka Metro and 10 minutes to Shinkansen (with luggage). Room was clean and comfortable. There was a large step up to the bathroom which might be difficult for someone with mobility issues. Bathroom was nice sized, beds were comfy. They stored our luggage for several hours after check out so we could explore a bit. Breakfast was additional fee (I think?) But it was good and very convenient (though there is a family mart right around the corner). Overall good price and great for a short stay!

The room is standard size in Japan, though the bathtub is a bit small. You can open a 28-inch suitcase in your room and still have room to move around. Yet when I first entered the toilet, it is a bit smelly, so I clean a bit on my own. You can get different disposable amenities at the front desk, which is located on the 2nd floor. The sensor in the elevator can automatically detect the floor you are in, which is good. The washing facility is wash+dry model, and you need to enter a password for the programme to start. For you, it is a protection. For other guests, you may need to ask the help of the staff so that you can use the washing machine once the programme ends. A coin laundry is located opposite the APA hotel, which is within 5 minutes distance. Lastly, if you are using large suitcase, you need to take down a set of stairs. As the nearest Osaka Metro station Exit 7 does not have an escalator moving downwards.
