Window was bolted shut, only a small part of the 4 part window could be opened, this means there were no fire escape. Room had no fridge (some do in this hotel). It would really benefit the customer if there were more than 1 clerc though. If a clerc is busy doing other tasks it can be annoying to wait to check in

The Staff should explain about the hotel rules and policy especially during early check in. Not just we are guessing what are we going to expect. Not all are friendly. Some doesn’t care at all.
