Average, no wow effect. For 4000+ NOK or $600+ AUD for ONE night stay you’d think you’d be amazed… but average. No smile, happiness or positive body language from front desk staff. Tiny rooms. Bed was very comfy, och breakfast was perfect. Location was spot on for central business errands.

Great location in the center of the city, Easily reached by walking from the central train station. Many good restaurants in the area. The hotel provided an excellent (free) breakfast that was available from 6:30 until 10:00. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The hotel also recommended tours from a company we found quite excellent (Keyguides).

The rooms are small but clean. The breakfast is good and so much choice. It a bit of a maze to find your room with luggage when you are on the upper back rooms.

Although we were worried about the situation of our room - right outside the entrance to the breakfast room - it turned out to be a good night's rest in a very comfy bed! Breakfast was superb and served in lovely surroundings. All in all, a great stay!

Easy to find from Nationaltheatret station, Flytoget from the airport. Arrived 3pm for check-in, room not ready so upgraded to Junior Suite. Lovely room overlooking the Parliament building and square. Beautifully clean and well supplied. Awesome breakfast food and setting. Quiet. Centrally located. Great staff.
