Great staff, clean rooms, great free breakfast. Fab location, only a 10 min walk to the markets. Our only complaint is that nobody from the hotel or hotels.com thought to tell us about the building work next door. We didn't find out until we got into our room. When I raised this with hotels.com on the 2nd day of a 4 day stay after being woken up at 7am by the blasting and digging which goes on until 5pm they passed the buck and said it was the hotel we needed to speak to. The hotel staff called us on monday evening to offer us a move to a quieter room on the other side of the hotel which was great. Considering we booked this trip in march for december travel we should have been informed by hotels.com so we could have decided if we wanted to change our accomodation.

Our family of four loved it here and the location to the train station, royal palace and Christmas market was perfect. We were really impressed with the breakfast offerings. It was a delicious spread.

The second time we have stayed in a Thon hotel. Once again the staff were extremely friendly and always happy to help. The amenities are super. We love the lounge area, it's such a nice touch. The breakfast was superb; such great choice and quality. We were lucky enough to have our room upgraded and that was completely above our expectations! The hotel is in a brilliant location, close enough to walk everywhere but far enough for it not too feel too busy around the hotel. We will defintiely be staying with Thon again!

Our overall stay was fine. We did have to evacuate for fire alarms twice. Once at 4am and again the next day around 6pm. Additionally, the microwave in our room was broken and had to be removed. We were offered another room. However, that room was significantly smaller with only a couch bed and no kitchenette. We specifically booked our room at this hotel in order to have a small kitchen so this was certainly disappointing. On a good note, the staff were friendly and helpful. One staff member to some extra time to help us book our airport return transportation which was very appreciated. The breakfast buffet was substantial and the staff were very friendly.

I was staying there for a work event. The hotel is well located and easy to get to from the airport. 1 train and a 5 minute walk. The staff checked us in early which we appreciated and the breakfast was amazing. I would 100% stay here again.

Basic room, No kettle, no lotion. Enough soap, towels, toilet paper. Lobby coffee almost always out of order or lacking coffee pods and even hot water. Breakfast uneven, running out of options early; clearly lack of coordination or planning or lack of staff. Same for lobby services. Reception always busy.

The hotel is about a 15min walk from the National Theatre station through a lovely park. The station is in the amazing airport rail link. It is a 15min walk to the centre of Oslo and the harbour. Shopping and restaurants are plentiful. This hotel is a part that of a large chain of hotels across Norway. The rooms are solid, clean and comfortable . The breakfast was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. The guest laundry facilities were a welcome sight after being on the road for a few days.

I liked everything about the apartment - well designed and well equipped? The gym was very nice as well as a very complete breakfast buffet. It was wonderful to be across the street from a beautiful par. My only complaint was the noise of people above me, children running up and down the hall and construction outside my window. Otherwise, it was a very nice place to stay.

We had a really great stay at the Thon Slottsparken. Amazing location, lovely hotel and really friendly/helpful staff. We had a slight problem (which wasn't the fault of the hotel) but this was quickly resolved by Management and reception. We would definitely return to this hotel in the future.

Amazing Staff!

The staff was incredibly helpful! We had a couple of complications with our trip -- the staff was very accommodating and understanding, helping us to solve our problems with the rest of our trip. The stay at the hotel was flawless, and even made the rest of our trip better!
