Nice hotel with very comfy beds. Rooms on higher floors are great and quiet but road noise can be heard from lower floors. Rooms are great! Gym On rooftop also great.

Our room was lovely, super clean and the staff were extremely accommodating. Only two issues were 1) getting a notification after booking a non-refundable stay that there was construction nearly which could affect the noise level in our room. The hotel provided earplugs; however, we felt like this is something that should be disclosed prior to booking. 2) Lack of parking onsite is an issue if you are going by car. The valet is expensive and they ask for 30 minutes heads up if you want your vehicle. When we returned to the hotel one evening, the four spots in front for valet parking were full so we had to circle the neighbourhood for a while until a spot opened up. Other places we have stayed in Ottawa did not have this issue with their valet parking as they had more spots available when you pulled in. If travelling to Ottawa again by car, we would likely stay elsewhere because of the parking situation.

Check- in was hectic on a Saturday afternoon. Waited 10 minutes for luggage cart which did not arrive. No one offered to help with bags. 3 trips back and forth on the elevator got it done. Nice room, great view. 2 restaurants, but main one was closed for dinner on Sunday and Monday. Other restaurant/rooftop bar had limited menu. No room service available. Breakfast lady at coffee counter was nice. Breakfast and coffee we're good. Had room cleaned once, and they failed to remove replace some obviously dirty towels. Towel supply is weak. Need more. Pillows are thin. Need more or bigger. Found luggage cart in time for checkout. No one offered to help wheel the cart or load the car. Staff was nice enough and they were obviously busy --- but this is a high end hotel (for us), and i expect better. Great location, but overall available service needs some improvement. I'd probably go again, but with tempered expectations.

We were disappointed the rooftop lounge was closed for a private party. They did not tell us at check in. (** There was a cadet hockey team that ran up and down the halls banging on doors on our first night. Really not cool. Parents, supervise your kids! **)
