Wonderful small hotel. Great location. Staff was very friendly. Clean rooms/bathrooms, nice shower. This is a walkup hotel(no elevator), gave me exercise every day. I'd stay again!!

Attractive decor, spotlessly clean, friendly owner and staff. Easy parking. Shower is tiny, but works. Neighborhood is a bit dodgy, but very close to ByWard Market and University of Ottawa.

The hotel and desk staff were very good. However, I did not read the details for the hotel in that there is no elevator. There is, also, no staff to help with luggage. We travel with a fair amount of luggage and it was a challenge to carry it up and down from the second floor. Thank goodness our room was not on the 4th floor.

Absolutely wonderful stay at this boutique hotel. Sabina was such a great, caring host - so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Our room was cute, cozy and very clean. Bed so comfy!!! Great coffee too. We will definitely go back when travelling again in the Ottawa area. Thank you Sabina.

The Swiss Hotel was charming with unexpected amenities, like curling tongs in the bathroom, a multi port charging station by the bed, and a full length mirror. It also had a coffee maker, robes, and small fridge. The coffee in the morning was welcome and the common area was large, quirky and well furnished. The drawbacks are no elevator and the area around the property felt a little unsafe. It is however a quick walk to the market, National Art Gallery and Parliament.

The Swiss Hotel was a convenient and clean place for us to stay while in Ottawa for a few days. We discovered its just down the street from the Ottawa Mission so we changed our walking route. Interestingly there were two high end hotels located just across the street from the Mission. We liked that the Swiss Hotel was close to the Byward Market area, Parliament Buildings and museums. We would stay here again.

Very small and tight

Small and tight rooms, but great usage of space. The owners are very friendly and the rooms do have a lot of useful amenities, although there is no fridge in the room. But for the price, would have liked a bit more space. Location is a few blocks from Byward Market and the university, but those few blocks do matter in feeling of safety - a bit quieter streets, a few more homeless etc.

Quaint hotel, close to everything you need. Prvate, fenced in patio. Wonderful service. Sabina is amazing!
Nescaffe machine with supplies in the closet. Wine glasses, corkscrew, kettle, tea, sugar, etc, coffee cups.... robes in another closet too.
