I needed somewhere quiet, comfortable, with reasonable space and tv channels as I would be in the room most of my 4 day stay looking after sick family. Travelodge gave it to me. Why not a 5? Only vending machine food available, although there are several fast food options within walking distance. Toilet wasn’t secure (it rocked a little), and a couple of the electric sockets didn’t work. There was a good selection of tv channels, but no tv guide, so I was forever channel hopping.

Quite clean and presentable, the only issue I found was the state of the bathtubs (broken drain plug, old silicone). No other problems. Desk staff were quite friendly and helpful.

Bed was painful to sleep on, renovated room made no sense, people sleeping in the stairwells, strollers everywhere in the hallways, pool not up to code, all the TV channels were French or not working. Everything felt dirty.

It's a basic hotel, nothing fancy but for the price its clean and works on a budget. They lack any inhouse food services however there is a restaurant beside it. They close early around 3 but do serve a decent breakfast. Other food options are 5 minutes away. This hotel is ideal for the business traveler.
