Our bathroom had dirty towels in the tub and hair all over the floor. I had to scrub the tub before I could even give my kids a bath after using the pool. The locks on our ground floor room are broken. The halls have really dirty walls, screens are falling out of window and curtains are ripped. It looks like they rent it the rooms like apartments. It also smells really badly. The bathroom in the pool area is filthy. The lady at the front desk was nice at check in.
My room was clean and didn't smell. The outside of the business looks bad. When I first pulled up I was like oh no what did I get myself into. When checking in you pick up a phone and they come to the window. I never seen anyone who worked there after that. Housekeeping did come in while I was out. The breakfast is not great options. You probably want to plan breakfast elsewhere. All cups are the smallest Styrofoam cups they make. The stairs has carpet just hanging over the steps (not hooked down). Hallways were clean. Again my room was clean and bed was comfortable, pillows are not good! The room was large. Would I stay there again, probably not. This time I chose there because rooms were over $350.00 a night in Northfield. It was graduation weekend. Price was decent for what I experienced. If you are use to nicer hotels then you will think the same things I did!
The bed was comfortable and that was the best part. The room had dirt/grime on the walls, the ceiling in the bathroom was damaged, the ice bucket had dirt all over it, the patchwork on the walls looked junky and the whole place smelled of cigarette smoke, despite the no smoking signs. Iâm grateful that I was working a lot and I was literally only there long enough to sleep and leave. Stayed a couple nights at a different hotel but couldnât go back due to lack of availability and I wish I could have. Pice was like $10 difference per night and WELL worth it to go to the other one.
Tiles missing in the bathroom, shower full of hard water stains, conditioner dispenser empty, pool freezing cold.. spend the extra few $$ and stay elsewhere.
Good nightâs sleep but not much effort was put into the continental breakfast. I mean, if youâre going to have a waffle maker, maybe put out some syrup?
I paid $120 for a 1 night stay. I'd say i spent $50 too much. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Very hard. Woke up multiple times during the night. Room looked very dated. Bathroom was moldy and shower didn't completely function. Walls were paper thin. Could hear everything outside of my room including barking dogs in people's rooms. Breakfast was just the waffle maker, juice and some mini donuts/muffins from Sam's. Everything about it felt bare minimum and i don't think the price I paid was bare minimum. Should be fine at sub $100 but anything over is overpay.
Service was okay, but the room was in rough shape. Heater barely worked, had it full blast and could barely get it above 65. Shower plumbing was working properly resulting in very low water pressure and it took FOREVER to heat up. TV remote didn't work. Bedding was thin and itchy. Not the worst place I have ever stayed, but doubtful I will be going back. Expected more for the price.
This is a gem of a motel. We stayed there for a week in July. The room was neat, the fridge actually worked, the owner was helpful. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. For $75 a night, I couldn't believe it. Would definitely recommend.
