Overpriced for a very small room. Bad drain odors led to leaving bathroom fan on all night which meant the bathroom light was on all nigh and had a glass door so light in the bedroom all night. Complained the following morning but was never asked how our stay was. Night club in building next door 9pm -1pm. Impossible to sleep as vibration came right through the walls.

Wow what a stunning hotel

Wow! What can I say we stayed in the suite and I don’t think we will ever top this. It was uniquely beautiful. Everything down to the beautiful 4 poster bed, the most stunning bathroom with 2 baths side by side, with a tv, to the beautiful court yard we had to sit outside. I cannot fault this room it’s blown our expectations and I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone. We have never stayed in a hotel room so much. The location was also perfect, being a stone throw away from the main high street. We will definitely be back

I never write reviews but this place is exceptional! The staff was fabulous! The rooms are wonderful. Totally worth the money. Close to everything you want to do in Oxford. We upgraded to the room with two tubs and huge shower. The amount of space is hard to come by in UK and worth every penny. Wonderful mix the old with new, very well done. Great cafes very close. I would go out of my way to stay here again.

Staff were friendly. Location brilliant. However bedroom was dated and simple - did not look like the nice room photos used in their marketing. Bed very hard. The bathroom smelled of damp and had black mould in the grout and silicone, and radiator was rusty and dusty. Felt like a very overpriced stay.

Pleasant staff in a superficially stylish but rather tired hotel: scuffed painted furniture, black-mould on blobby mastic in the shower, poor water pressure, shower control not fully functioning... Nice things like Nespresso machines, with biscuits and real milk, let down by mugs too big to fit under the machine's spout. Doubt I'll ever stay there again.

Dreadful overpriced and run down hotel. The staff were most unhelpful, the furniture was cheap and tired, the bathroom so small that a very slim person like me felt cramped. Hairdryer with very short cable, no sockets in the right places, TV not working, the constant banging of the front door.

There is construction taking place Nextdoor. Our room faces the Union on the first floor which was a very nice view but the windows were incredibly thin and we could hear everything as if we were standing outside. Woke up one morning to a VERY loud garbage truck and sound of glass shattering due to the construction. The room was nice and the staff was very kind and friendly. I did not have a fridge in the room but the staff was more than helpful with storing milk (for my child) in the fridge and bringing it up to me when needed!

Lots of shops & restaurants within a 200m radius. Large shopping center less than 5 min walk and close to Oxford sights. Clean, friendly staff. Room has coffee, tea, fridge & a large bathroom. Rooms are functional but plain.

Comfortable but limited

This is a small hotel in a central location. My standard room was small but comfortable, although a little cold overnight. It was perfectly fine, but the price was a little much for this kind of place, which had no real facilities. The breakfast was expensive and very limited. There was a lot of noise and clutter in the corridors from early on when the cleaning began (from about 7)

Probably one of the worst stays I’ve had in a hotel ever. The biggest things include poor service, no hot water, and no water pressure. There were multiple other little things that went wrong within our room as well. Also, when I was about to leave they tried charging me 20 £ a day for having a second person at breakfast. The breakfast deal is a complete rip off. On multiple days I only had a cup of tea but they still charged me an exorbitant amount for 2 people. I recommend staying somewhere else.
