Ideal location. Tasteful Decor. Very Clean.We are all 80 and would have appreciated a walk-in shower on at least one floor. So extremely hazardous that we all skipped a shower after 1st night.

Cute house

Cute house just a few steps to the ocean. It’s older and decorated in the style of that time period. My older daughter declared it her dream house. I am not sure I’d feel comfortable there with little kids (due to risk of them breaking something) but fine with our older kids. It was very clean, housekeeping does a great job. We found most everything we needed on hand. Our few suggestions would be some crisp white, cotton sheets on the master bed, and that mattress is probably nearing the end of its lifespan. Also window coverings that can completely cover the windows would be ideal, both for sleeping and 100% privacy. Overall a great stay, we were sad to leave!

Cute house in a great location!

This cute home had all we needed, including a fenced yard for our dogs. We were able to walk to the aquarium and to downtown Pacific Grove. Great location.

One of our favorite places

Simply Wonderful

Staying here for a small girls trip was absolutely wonderful. The property was lovely and beautiful. The short walk to the water was perfect and a short walk to town. Would definitely recommend and stay with this property again! The house is stunning with beautiful architecture on the inside.

Charm to the max for a great family getaway!

Our family of 6, including in-laws, and 7 and 3 year old, spent a week in Monterey and found the little red house to be a perfect home away from home. We were easy walking distance to fantastic restaurants and shops a few blocks away in Pacific Grove as well as the coastal trail to the aquarium and lover's point, the wharf, ect. Such a great location! The surrounding residential neighborhood was quiet, just a couple of blocks from a great playground and steps from the ocean, perfect for kids and families who want peaceful nights and mornings with the sights and sounds of the sea, not tourists and parties. You can't miss the views of the ocean or the beautiful stained glass in the windows. The back and side garden are fenced, with lovely landscaping and flowers in addition to the fire pit table and grill with ample seating. The kitchen and baths were well stocked with quality supplies like pans and plates/cutlery, towels, etc; we did have to apply dishwashing detergent, however eco friendly laundry soap sheets were a pleasant surprise. Of course having a washer and dryer is such a bonus! The layout and rooms are surprisingly spacious for a small house, and everyone noted good sleep in their comfy beds. The claw foot tubs are deep, and the shower water pressure is excellent with elegant fixtures. Communication was easy and very responsive, and overall the check in and check out process was super easy with zero hassle.

Gorgeous house

What an adorable house and in a perfect location, half block from the ocean. The house is finished perfectly, tile, hardwood floors, everything fits the house. Every pot, pan, waffle marker, crock pot, knife, plates, plastic cups, wine glasses, mugs is available for you to use. Large refrigerator, toaster oven, keurig were all available. Sheets and towels were nice. Hair dryers in each bathroom, q tips and cotton balls, everything you may have forgotten at home. You can see the water from several windows. Neighborhood was so quiet - only the seagulls made noise my only comment was we asked last minute for a late check out and were told by management company 30 mins would be all they could offer, we accepted. Promptly at check out time someone came to the house ready to start stripping bedding and towels he told us nothing was communicated to him and we need to be more direct with the rental company. We left 5 mins after check out but it was a tad frustrating. House is great, location is great will stay again

A little bit of serenity

It was a wonderful little place, very cozy close to the water, walking distance to restaurants. Very clean, the shower is in a clawfoot tub which I loved but may not be for everyone. I had a very relaxing time celebrating my son’s birthday with a visit to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and surrounding area.

Perfect Little Home In Historic Pacific Grove

Our family of 4 stayed in the Little House and loved it! It is so clean and there isn’t a thing the owners/rental company have not thought of to stock on the premises. The bath towels are luxurious, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need, minus spices. We did not do a lot of cooking, so not an issue for our family. The proximity to Lover’s Point, the Aquarium, Cannery Row, Fisherman’s Wharf and the downtown area are why we chose this location and couldn’t be more happy with our pick. We walked everywhere! They even have binoculars you can take to view the sea lions, otters, and birds. Love that they offer all convenience items - hand soap, toulet paper, roll of paper towels, trash bags, dish washing tabs, Trader Joe’s shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. They also offer Ecos laundry sheets, which was a nice bonus. Many reviews mention the bathtubs. I will say, if you are not agile enough to step into the tub, you may want to reconsider this property. We did not have any issues, but for an elderly person, it would likely be impossible to get in and bathe safely. The house is so quaint and we hope to return one day. Rent this home for your visit, you will not be disappointed.

Great Place!

Lovely house in a wonderful location

We had a wonderful time at the Little House- it has everything you need (the kitchen was particularly well stocked)! It was so cozy and relaxing. The best part though is the location, we walked to the aquarium, the beach, the playground, restaurants, everything is so close! Loved our stay and didn't want to leave.

We loved this little red house!

The house was perfect!! Great neighborhood, 1 block from the bay. The kitchen is excellent. We were only 3. My husband and I stayed in the downstairs room and my adult son stayed upstairs. There is another room upstairs with twin beds (I think). Communication with everyone was excellent. We loved this little red house.

Family Getaway to Monterey Bay

This home was perfect our family of 4, with two teenagers. The location very close to the path along the bay which made it easy to stroll to the Aquarium or just enjoy the views. We could easily walk out for meals and groceries. The home had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Instructions for everything were clear and easy to follow.

Wonderful stay in Pacific Grove

Clean and very cute Victorian style home. Cozy place to be after a day of sight seeing. Easy access to the Monterey Bay Coastal Trail along the ocean. Just had to walk to end of the block for great ocean and sea otter views. Highly recommend!

The Sweet Spot

Pretty much walkable to where you want to go, with the cutest little backyard area! I found myself conflicted - I wanted to explore the beauties the area has to offer, but I also just wanted to hang in out at the home. This house is filled to the brim with Victorian charm. The clawfoot bathtubs were wonderful for soaking, but be advised, showering created a slippery surface. Be cautious of that. The home was well-equipped and very comfortable. I would love to return one day, however it is pretty pricey and seems to fluctuate greatly - but is definitely a “get what you pay for” experience. If you are very tall, I would not recommend this home only because of the low ceilings located upstairs. Other than that it’s pretty near perfect!

Hidden Gem

This place is a hidden gem. The location is perfect, walking distance to the ocean, aquarium, shopping, dinning, all in reasonable distance. The house is very clean, has a well equipped kitchen. You walk in and feel right at home!
