Great location. The premium price didnât match the experience/size/quality compared to other options at that same price point weâve stayed previous. Check in is late, plan on not getting in before 5pm. Pack your own firewood.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The rooms are perfectly proportioned and the layout is perfect. The kitchen is well stocked and it's in a great location.
Our stay was great! The cabin was super clean, had everything we needed to cook our own dinner, and check in/out was very easy. We went to Cruisers Pizza on our first night as the guest book recommended and it was amazing! The next day we did the short walk to the river and then ended our excursion in the hot tub. Overall a perfect weekend getaway.
We stayed here over New Years with cousins for a ski trip and had. great time. The house is in a great neighborhood close to Packwood and easy access to White Pass. The house itself is set up great to accommodate a group a skiers with a big gear room upon entry. Upstairs ha s a very simple and modern vibe with a nice big open floor plan. We had everything we needed but did end up grabbing some paper plates & plastic wear to avoid having to do dishes constantly. Also the Elk were everywhere! They walked up the driveway to the door...I'm sure they would have come right inside if I put snacks our for them. Super fun to see!
Great place to stay in Packwood, especially with a group. We had plenty of room to cook together, eat, play board games, and adventure into Mt. Rainier. Kitchen amenities were good and beds were comfortable.
We had a great time at the Treehouse. The interior is beautifully designed and the host Thomas was super responsive. We used this as a base to explore the area around Mt. Rainier and highly recommend it to anyone!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this adorable chalet and highly recommend it! It was spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We made wonderful family dinners, watched movies, played games and enjoyed our escape to the PNW. It was thrilling to witness the herd of elk grazing throughout the neighborhood over morning coffee on the deck! The outdoor amenities, including fire pit and hot tub, added to the relaxing experience after our adventurous hike in Mt. Ranier. The hosts were friendly and responsive. Packwood was adorable and very close to one of the Ranier National Park entrances. We would definitely stay here again and again.
We had a wonderful stay. This home is beautiful and conveniently located in Packwood proper. Downstairs on entry level is a very large mud room with enough room to store adventure gear for ten people. Hot tub and fire pit are outside to side of house couple steps from front door. Hot tub was clean and fabulous.
You go up one flight of stairs from mud room to main level with large kitchen, living room, bathroom with large shower, and the king and queen bedrooms. Thereâs also a deck off of the living room. Beds are comfy. Water pressure was good. Fireplace was great with plenty of wood by the driveway. The kitchen pans had seen better days but worked for general cooking. Coffee maker made good drip brew and there were ground coffee packets and some extra coffee in cupboard. There were not enough glasses for ten people to drink at same time. A number of wine tumblers but glassware was really lacking. We had our own bottles or cans so it worked out for us thankfully.
Upstairs was the loft with twin daybed and trundle and the two queen bedroom. The second bathroom is also upstairs. These beds were comfy too. Some additional bed blankets and pillows would have been helpful - especially for the trundle bed. Also the only mirrors are in the bathrooms so if you have a number of people needing those to get ready it can create a log jam.
The house was clean and beautiful. Our group of teens through grandparents had a fabulous trip and would definitely come back again. Thank you for a great stay!
Our stay was great! Easy to get into the home, decor was updated and so inviting, great open concept space! The beds were super comfortable and the bathrooms were nice and spacious. We loved the kitchen and the dining area!!
Suggestions for improvement would be that the deck/fireplace area was cleaned up so it felt more usable, and the living room absolutely needs more seating. Maybe a love seat/recliner or even some bean bags. It was hard to all enjoy a movie together when the couch really only seats 6. Overall, would totally stay here again. Thank you!!
The house was very nice. The upstairs loft beds were super comfortable, gorgeous kitchen and kitchen table. The most important space to us is the kitchen and TV room and it was big and open concept like we like. Loved all the windows on the front of the house.
What a lovely setting and home. We had a great time in our short stay and were able to make it up to Paradise 1 day. Seeing elk just outside the property so cool too! The owners were very helpful and very quick to get back to us with any questions.
Loved it!!
