Great stay at Lake Powell Resort

I had a great time at this property, it is conveniently located on Lake Powell grounds, beautiful views and great food/drink options. I was unaware there was a fee to enter the grounds - thankfully due to it being Easter, it was free for some reason. Plan to pay $25-30 to enter.

Being right on Lake Powell, or Lakeview room with its own balcony was just perfect. It offers two restaurants, one more of a lounge and less expensive and the other requires a reservation and is more formal with more choices for entrées. It was great to be able to walk on a beautiful sidewalk from our room to the pool and Jacuzzi into the restaurant. Staff was great. Would definitely return.

Not very friendly. Front desk tried to put me in a room with no WiFi. Charges a $16 resort fee and I can’t figure out what makes them a “resort” Older property, bad outdoor lighting from lobby to buildings with rooms, making it difficult to walk.

Beautiful setting. We only stayed one night. Staff were pleasant but checking in was inefficient given the long line. Furniture in room was dated but building has had some nice updates and we were overall very pleased.

Our premium view room had an incredible view but there was only one night stand and inconvenient power outlets. I had that 80's motel 6 feeling with inexpensive carpeting, dish satellite, and cheap furniture. I'm noticing Expedia customers may have received the discount on the nice room but you get what you paid for or you end up in the remote rooms with long walks to services.
