Liked: Staff & service
The room was large and had tea making facilities. It unfortunately smelled of stale smoke.
The staff were helpful in helping me upstairs with my heavy case, booked our taxi and came up and knocked when the taxi arrived a bit early.
There was a busy pub 20 minute walk up the road which we ate at, seemed popular.
Absolutely terrible experience. Avoid at all costs. I booked a room here after a concert as I had an early flight back home. My room was booked in advance and paid for 6 weeks prior. I got to My Motel after the show, and I was told that they had overbooked and they would not be able to give me a room. They told me they could not help me and to find a room elsewhere. This was severely distressing for me as I am a young woman who had travelled alone to a city I had never been to before, and it was approaching 1am, which also makes it a safety issue to be left on the streets of Glasgow. There was no other available accommodation in the city due to events being on. I had paid £30 for a taxi to get to My Motel. Even though they were aware that they had overbooked, they failed to contact me to let me know that I would not have a room - so they were happy to let me waste more money travelling to get there. I was not the only person this happened to that night either. I was unable to secure alternative accomodation and had to stay awake all night in the airport arrivals lounge. Ruined my whole trip.
The rooms were of good standard however I would not advise Families / children to stay here.
There were customers such as my self who were working in the area.
Sadly there were also unruly guests who had no considerations for other people - especially at night time and to be perfectly honest my impression was that they had drug issues.
I felt the hotel was letting rooms to people who were not true travelling customers but from some form of social benefit - rehousing or rug rehab
Does what it says on the tin! This was a last minute booking due family member in hospital . I didn’t expect much for the price I paid which was fine I just needed somewhere to rest . The noise through the night was

I had booked and paid for a king size comfort room. When I booked in I was shown to a single room!! I pointed out what I had booked and was moved to the right room. There was no shaver plug socket in the bathroom and the sink did not have a plug that stopped water escaping. The money that it cost was really extortionate for the service given. I had 2 nights there. On the day I was due to leave just before 7 am I was awoken by the sound of dripping water. Water was coming through the ceiling and through the smoke detector. No offer of a refund was made so really disappointed. Also the rooms were not serviced, which for the price I would expect to happen and also to have breakfast included
Staff were extremely helpful and approachable while also being efficient.
Good parking. Rooms at side nice and quiet. Easy access roads and good car parking. Morrisons just a few minutes walk away.
Bed was comfy enough for a one night stay. Only two windows of the four worked. The room was full of holes in the walls, one with a random cable rolled up.
You can see that they’ve tried to do it up a bit but probably opened before things were finished.
Saw condition and left.
Filthy room ...walls and ceiling stained.
Blood and other stains on bedding.
Seems to be mostly used as emergency local authority housing.
Not suitable for tourists
Guy on desk offered to see if there was bedding he could swap but had no desire to stay in place where hygiene is is not paramount.
My Motel is a 2-3 star hotel and the price reflects this. Perfect for my budget currently.
Staff were helpful and responsive.
We had two separate rooms.
My room was clean and very basic.
Wet room was leaking into the main sleeping area when you showered, however, good shower.
As we entered the hotel the carpet in the corridors were stained and the smell was not pleasant.
Had to buy freshener for our rooms.
Otherwise good basic comfortable sleep.
Clean beds. TV. Kettle, tea coffee, milk. No spoon?
