This is a nicely remodeled hotel. We loved the pool view from the room. The room was comfortable and well-equipped. The staff was friendly and attentive. The pool and hot tob temps were PERFECT!

I was promised a refund by the manager who checked me in and also worked in evening around 11 pm as the bedsheets were dirty with hair on them and were surely not changed from the previous guests. Also the shower head kept dripping water the whole time and shower was dirty upon our arrival. Carpets in room were dirty and vanity bottom shelf in bathroom was not cleaned with old dust on it. I guess I was fooled by the pictures on Expedia. Nevertheless, I am now waiting for my refund.

Run the other way and do not choose this place !!! Do not believe the 8.6 rating… it’s a lie. The photographs are photoshopped and taken right when it opened… it does look like any of the photos. Expedia really needs to send someone to inspect the properties that they are selling to people. It’s basically a shiny Motel 6 !!! I can’t ever imagine paying the full price per night for his place …. Pathetic Expedia!!!

All sorts of things --- room keys, television, deck door, and elevator did not work and all had to have maintenance attention. The room's floors were dirty; I "swept" the stuff into a small pile. Not enough towels, no robe(s), shampoo and body wash HORRIBLE. And the staff were very helpful and friendly and nice. But the bubble pool was great, and we enjoyed that a lot!

The room was a bit run down, blinds were broken and they face the center court where the outdoor spa and pool are so that was inconvenient. The outside quad is very loud and the room soundproofing to neighbors was good but to the outside pool area it was noisy. The bed mattress in our room was definitely old and needs to be replaced. The pool in the room was great but they chlorinate the water so even if they use mineral water to fill the pool the chlorine smell is really prevalent.

We stayed in the spa room, which was great to have the private jacuzzi. The place needs some tlc overall, but it is evident the hotel is trying and accomplishing. Unique to be able to stay in such an area specific historical place. We would do it again.
