It is utterly charming with retro rooms and wonderful pool and hot tub. The property is lovingly managed by Barb & Chris who feel like old friends--totally recommend the Coyote Inn. We will be back!

Barb and Chris, the owners, were terrific. They did so much for me while I was there, including driving me over to the grocery store (too far to walk) the day I arrived. There were many added touches...an umbrella when it rained (too bad they couldn't fix that!, but it only lasted half a day), and a flashlight for walking over to Palm Canyon Drive for dinners.

It was a quaint hotel. Clean, Very private and quiet. Host and hostess were a so friendly and accommodating. Made us feel like family. Hotel is in a great location walking distance to downtown and all activities and Bevmo and convenience stores. And best of all we had some scheduling issues and they blessed us with a late checkout! I recommend them highly. Made our stay wonderful.

Peaceful.

Coyote Inn was beautiful and the location was perfect, walking distance to downtown Palm Springs. It was peaceful and the views were spectacular. The Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our only complaint is they didn't have a curfew for the pool area at night, one out of 3 night's we stayed there we were asleep then at 11:30 till almost 1:00 am two people were out there talking and kept us awake. Other than that it was perfect.

Great small property. With only 8 rooms you get great privacy but still a social element with a couple or 2 by the pool. Walking in to the strip was perfect location.

Peaceful Poolside Bliss

The Coyote Inn is darling. Super quiet and peaceful, it is perfect for a nice relaxing poolside chill. It is located a very short walk from downtown, super convenient but just far enough to be incredibly peaceful. The rooms are cozy and cool with plenty of outdoor seating in the shade. The hosts, Chris and Barb are very friendly and accommodating and make the stay comfortable. I would highly recommend the Coyote Inn for a relaxing getaway.

The WIFI didn’t work properly, although Chris had promised it was going to be fixed the day of our arrival. It was a cold period in Palm Springs, and there was no proper temperature controlled heating in the rooms. The first night we were cold, the next hot. And I didn’t enjoy wrestling with several blankets. The property is very small and quite dated, and outside of our room, there was a fire pit, where every day someone sat and talked loudly. We didn’t feel we had any privacy. Also, we could hear every little noise from our neighbors. For the price we paid, it certainly wasn’t worth it. Granted, it was Modernism Week ... Alas, we wouldn’t stay there again.

Coyote Inn is a lovely owner-operated inn right in the heart of Palm Springs. The owners are friendly and attentive. The rooms open onto a well-maintained courtyard with a pool and hot tub. During our stay, many of the guests ate breakfast or enjoyed a glass of wine in the courtyard. Everyone was friendly, and the intimate setting made it easy to meet people from all over. The rooms were clean and well cared for. The kitchenette had a vintage feel, but had everything we needed--coffee, stove/oven, microwave, cooking utensils and refrigerator. We used it to make sandwiches to bring when we went hiking and to store and reheat leftovers from dinner at one of the many nearby restaurants.

We loved the Coyote Inn! We spent Christmas here, and our hosts could not have made it more special! From the decorated tree in the room, to the homemade treats, to the unexpected, wrapped gifts we received - what a fabulous way to spend the holiday. We felt right at home and appreciated the fireplace in the room, the abundance of books and magazines, and the desert décor.
