Beautiful Home

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean, large rooms, many amenities, games, etc. Only complaint would have been the tv remotes all being in the wrong rooms and some needing batteries. Internet was in and out a bit and effected our tv viewing. But overall, would definitely stay there again. So much to do, foosball, video games, board games, jacuzzi, pool, putting green, cards. Clean and bright and layout was great.

Disappointed!

The ad centers around the pool and spa, which we weren’t able to use because the water was frigid! There were instructions on the kitchen counter to heat the pool, which referenced using a tablet, but the instructions said you needed to arrange for heat in advance. No where on the VRBO ad or in my communications with Vacasa was I told or offered an option for a heated pool. Very deceptive! When you rent a desert pool home the last week of December/first week of January, a heated pool should be automatic! Once I realized the tablet that controlled the pool heat was not in the house, I contacted Vacasa to see if I could get the pool heated and was told it was “too late.” It was torture for my kids each day to see a beautiful pool that they weren’t able to use! We would have never rented this home if we had known we weren’t going to be able to enjoy the pool and spa. The home is also directly under the flight path of the airport - planes constantly taking off and landing directly overhead, with no way to drown out the noise because music is not allowed outdoors - not even from your phone! We were told after we had already paid for the house that if we played music outdoors, we would be “removed” from the property! VRBO should require hosts to inform guests BEFORE they pay of important details, including whether or not you will be able to turn on the pool heater in the winter, that you won’t be able to play music, and the home is located directly under the flight path!

Spacious home with lovely pool

Our family group of 10 really enjoyed our stay at this house. The 5 bedrooms and 4 bathroom home was spacious and clean. The pool and outdoor space is really lovely. Be advised that the home is very close to the airport and you do hear/see every plane taking off from PSP.

Worked well for our family vacation with our adult children and their kids. Appreciated having the things we needed to “live” like laundry soap, shampoo, etc. Ice make didn’t work. We did have a leak under the kitchen sink and they handled it promptly and the plumber was very nice and professional. Guys enjoyed the putting green and the pool was lovely and heated as we requested. Very good overall stay. Thank you!!!

Nice House But That Plane Noise Is Bad

Two families (4 adults and 3 kids) stayed here for 1 full week. The Pros - The house was clean and spacious. Having 2 master bedrooms was good for two families. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and dishes. The Cons - This property is directly under the flight path to/from the Palm Springs airport. The planes are LOUD! They start around 5:30am and go all day and well in to the evening. If you are a light sleeper you will for sure be woken up by the noise. Fair Warning - If you want the pool heated you need to pay extra. This is stated in the description but I missed it. I’ve rented several houses with pools and have NEVER had to pay extra to have the pool heated. That was really annoying and unnecessary based on the overall cost of the rental in my opinion. Palm Springs Outdoor Noise Ordinance - You are not allowed to have ANY outdoor music in Palm Springs and this is very strictly enforced. Conclusion - I would not stay at this home again. For future trips I would stay as close to Palm Springs as possible without actually being in Palm Springs proper so that I don’t have to deal with the noise ordinance. I would not stay in the flight path of the airport again and finally, I would pay more attention to any extra fees to have the pool heated and would try to avoid homes that have that fee.

The Desert Oasis

What an amazing place to stay, you have it all in one property! The house is very cozy, clean and accommodates a large group well! Kitchen was good for cooking, pool awesome for lounging all day and beds are very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

All about Family

Property as advertised. Pool, house all very clean. Palm Springs has strict noise regulations so music is prohibited outside, OK fine, but we have to listen to passenger jets land and takeoff from the airport. I found this ironic. Also would have liked to enjoy a cigar and Jack Single outside but no smoking on property. All in all the family good time.

Several issues never got a call back!

First, i never received a call from anyone for check in. It states dont call them but once our check in time came and went i called and got the needed info and sent ID pic. Despite the house being not as clean as it should (pistachio shells on floor on arrival, dirty ash tray on patio, lounge chairs stained/dirty, trash on shelf in master bedroom, ceiling fans extremely dirty, broken dirty ping pong table etc) after I re cleaned house and sanitized myself things were going great. There is an app for the lights and water features which we were unable to locate after the second day. Called support. Never called back. Master bedroom bed frame literally split down the side when I crawled in causing me to slip to floor and hurt me knee. Called. No return. Felt unsafe sleeping on it so I got the couch for 2 nights :-( Besides the above it is a beautiful property. You don’t even notice the planes, ever! Lots to do for everyone. Just an extreme disappointment with the management and cleaning crew. Especially me being a nurse and during a pandemic! I feel a refund is most definitely in order but I’ll be surprised if I ever hear from anyone. We are now going on 5 days past 1st issue and nothing!

Perfect Family Getaway

This property was very nice and exactly what we had in mind for our 4 night family getaway. With 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and several common areas, there was room for everyone to spread out comfortably and relax. We really enjoyed the access to a variety of fun activities including the pool/spa, putting green, ping pong table and Foosball table. There was always something to keep everyone busy the entire time during our stay. Also, we really appreciated how close it was to amenities that made the easy and worry free for the adults. There are two major grocery stores only two minutes away. I would definitely stay here again.

Communication issues abound

Overall the property is well set up for an extended vacation and family time. The amenities are ideal and property is fairly well maintained. Upon checkin we’re we informed that outside music was strictly prohibited. This is unusual and a bit of a disappointment. The first night only half the house AC worked properly. The next day it was difficult getting ahold of property management. Only after 2 hours of attempted calls and texts did property management reply to an email. They sent an HVAC technician right away and the AC started to get repaired. But the 2nd night wasn’t much cooler. 2nd morning we found all AC was out and most of the house wasn’t working properly. Turns out it was a power outage in the neighborhood. Management did send a maintenance guy to help get things back in order and unbolt the gate so we could push it open and get out until the power came back on. Overall the biggest issues were that the AC wasn’t working properly and communication was poor. But otherwise, the stay was fairly pleasant and property was mostly in great shape. We were taken care of, but disappointed with the circumstances.

Splendid Stay

This house is managed by a management company and they certainly run a great operation. Check in was quick and by the time we got from the rental office to the property, a rep was there to walk us through everything. The house has everything you could ever need. It’s modern clean and just so relaxing. We loved it. Loved having a washer dryer on property and the 4 baths were a nice plus. This may be one of the best finds in Palm Springs.

Beautiful Home and Great Location

We rented this home with some friends for the fourth of July weekend. The home is beautiful, has plenty of space, comfy bedrooms, updated bathrooms, updated kitchen. The backyard was a great place to spend most of our time and relax. The Foosball and putting green were a big hit with the kids. It’s close to nearby grocery stores so picking up last minute items was very easy. Unfortunately, the previous tenant broke two large umbrellas before we arrived. The manager stated they would be immediately replaced. We called the next day and were informed that unfortunately they would not have the replacements in time. So we did have limited shade besides the patio area. Also, we did have issues with the pool/Spa controls and it took someone all day to come out and inspect. Apparently, the pool was in service mode and that disables the pool controls. Would have been great to have this taken care of before we the end of our second day, but management advised they were extremely busy. Overall a good experience and I would recommend this house.
