Great view and perfect place for a family reunion

They family room was large and provided a great location for our family reuinion; 5 bedrooms were very spacious with 4 bathrooms; only negatives were fire pit didn’t work for us and the bbq needs to be replaced, the heat was centered in a small location; the checkin process was great and the host responded quickly to every question both before and during our stay! Overall a great location for a large group and the price was very reasonable; also dearer hot springs was a great location for Palm Springs and site seeing in Joshua tree! The views were wonderful

Large home with great views

This property has a very large open great room and kitchen with several couches for larger groups. Kitchen large with island but no bar stools. Cabinets somewhat overstocked with appliances so storage space for bought groceries is limited to back counter. Home needs some minor repairs to make it excellent. Mario was responsive and even bought extra folding chairs for us to use during our stay. Loved the views and the kids really enjoyed the grass in the backyard. Biggest disappointment was all the extra add on fees which totaled more than the cost of the rental since we had more than 6 people. Extra charges include children, even infants. (We had 4 small girls with 6 adults). We had a wonderful family reunion here and even with the minor things listed, it was still a wonderful home.

Stayed here several times.

A gorgeous spacious house with a great view. Plenty of space for serenity and relaxation with friends One criticism is that there are not enough extra towels or linens in case they are needed.

Nice Property, Needs Upgrades

Beautiful location. Could use some repairs (faucets in the bathrooms, kitchen cabinets could use an upgrade, chipped paint in bathroom closest to the main door entrance, outside railings need replacement, outside could use a painting as well). Upgrades will make the property outstanding. Consider adding counter-height chairs at the bar.

SPECTACULAR LOCATION!

My family rented this for the Christmas break and it was an AWESOME location to gather and celebrate. The views and design are eye catching and relaxing. The fire pit provided a place for the family to gather and relax in the evenings. The owner/manager is very accessible and helpful. Altogether wonderful!!

This house was amazing - we called it our wedding house

I chose this house to host our wedding, and it ended up being the perfect venue. The house was so spacious, beautiful, and with many rooms to accommodate our family. The view of the mountains from the backyard was wonderful!

Perfect for our family

The property was large and welcoming. The floor to ceiling windows in the family, dining and kitchen area, which over looks the valley were amazing! With bedrooms on each side of the house and the great middle space with the windows made a great place for everyone to get together for meals, games and conversation. This was a perfect set up for our large group! Mario was a great host for our Thanksgiving family retreat!

Relaxing 4th of July Vacation with Spectacular Views!

We enjoyed our stay at Mario's place. The views from the great room were spectacular! We watched the city fireworks from the dining room table and the backyard. We couldn't have asked for a better place to watch the fireworks. We had most of the things we needed to enjoy our last-minute vacation. We were thrilled that Mario was able to accommodate our group on such short notice. It's located in a quiet neighborhood. The house is well appointed. The only things we thought that could be improved were the towels - we bought some while we were there because housekeeping provided one face cloth for each of us for a 5-day stay - and the rooms were warm before we went to bed at night even when we adjusted the thermostat - it may have just been time for the filters to be changed (hubby is a mechanical engineer who specializes in HVAC and thought it may have been the filters). Overall, this was a great place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone traveling to the area!

Wonderful getaway

Massive property in desert hot springs away from the city. The kitchen was well stocked and it had the resources to accommodate all our guests. Pet friendly was a plus. I would stay again.

Great compound for a team retreat

Had a great time at Mario's place. Lots of communal space for team building, etc and the views were incredible. Only note is that Desert Hot Springs is a little remote, but for us that was the point :)

Are you kidding me?!?!?!? This place was "Heaven" in Desert Hot Springs!!!

Exactly as listed ... every little thing was available. We had a small (20 person) wedding there and everyone loved it ... the views are unreal! Mario (the host) was open to all communication, he was prompt, direct and clear ... if we are ever back in the area, we will absolutely consider this home!

Only a few miles from the wedding we were gathered for, easy drive from the airport, great view from the gathering room, private rooms for all, and accommodating kitchen. Very nice!!

Great house for family gathering

Loved staying at this beautiful house Monday-Friday. Loved the many floor-to-ceiling windows looking onto a great view of the mountain -- it's like it was right in the back yard. Very relaxing environment. Loved loved loved the kitchen, well furnished for a chef, and amazing coffee machine. We really enjoyed preparing a meat fondue with many dipping sauces and eating it on the big glass round table (we brought our own fondue sets). Really nice to fit both our families around the huge table with lots of elbow space. I much enjoyed also playing the piano in the master bedroom. The Master bathroom is really beautiful. Love the attention to detail and beauty throughout the house. For outings we hiked Ryan's Mountain in Joshua Tree National Park -- great hike with stunning views of the desert for miles and miles. We also played some fantastic golf at Desert Springs and Escena public golf courses where the views, golf, and grounds were amazing. The teenagers and young adults also loved playing bocce ball on the grass area, hanging out around the fire pit, and playing boardgames together. Internet connection was good and one high schooler was able to do classes remote and take tests from the house. Loved our trip and would stay here again. Highly recommend!
