We were a party of 6 adult females so the layout of the house should have been perfect for us. However it got so warm in the house (83 during the day and 79 overnight) that it became quite uncomfortable. It should be noted that we had the thermostat set to 75 which was never reached. Especially for the the 2 bedrooms off the hall. They were so uncomfortable and probably warmer than 79 overnight that those ladies ended up moving to the rooms on the ends of the house that were already occupied by 2 adults each. So now 3 adults in each master. Not ideal. The masters do have their own AC units so that is why they are so comfortable. But In an effort to cool off the rest of the house you can’t sleep with the doors closed, one bedroom is off the kitchen/main living room so anyone that wakes up early will disturb the guests in that room. We were in contact with 2 local agents, Kelly and Imad. Imad was kind enough to bring us additional fans and checked the filters to see if they were new. They were. He even stated how hot is was in there as he was sweating just standing there. As did Kelly. Being from the desert myself, I do understand how hot it can get inside. However the AC unit for this house is not able to accommodate it. You should not be sweating inside the home. And could benefit from ceiling fans in the living room.
I inquired about pool floats before our trip and was told there weren’t any on site, so we brought our own. However there are several on the side of the house covered in dirt and dust. A deck box and decent pump would clean this up.
The house is well appointed with anything you might need, beds and showers were all nice. This would be a great place to come only during winter. I would not stay here again in the warmer months.
