This was the PERFECT rental for a group of 10 college friends celebrating our 50ths (could also be good for couples or bachelorette group)! We enjoyed the house and all of the amenities. Loved the citrus trees for limes and lemons in our drinks! The pool and hot tub were great after a hot day of shopping and the tram. Walkable to downtown. Short Uber ride from airport. Fun to see photos in house of Bob Hope and his family. Would highly recommend.

Pool was heated, Jacuzzi was excellent.Great kitchen, rooms were comfortable.Just wanted to note a couple things.Two of the rooms are not directly accessible from the main house. For us, this worked out well fortunately.There were a few ants inside the house, so may need some more attention.We got a kick out of the tour buses driving by

Fantastic Choice!

All 9 of us had nothing but compliments when we first walked in the gate. That created a positive vibe that kept with us the entire time. The Bob & Delores Hope theme was present, yet complimented the Palm Springs "Movie Colony" feel. Open environment with the living room engaged with the kitchen and outdoor pool deck. Pool, Jacuzzi, darts, shuffle board, BBQ, and more. Rooms were large and spacious with one of them cute but decorated to make you smile. Close to downtown Palm Springs, 111 highway, Tram, and hikes. We left with great memories!

Palm Springs break

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Thanks for the Memory. The house is spacious, retro and comfortable. The pool was the center of entertainment for all ages. The location is near a park and restaurants. Our spring break was a total success!

How sweet it is...

What a great time we had this past weekend luxuriating in fabulous house. The layout, the decor, the appointments were perfect. Bob Hope would have been proud of all the laughter and good cheer experienced during out stay!

Wonderful weekend getaway

This property left us wanting for nothing! It was exactly as described. The pictures don’t convey how spacious it actually is. It sits on a corner and occupies two lots. You really have a lot of space to enjoy, whether it’s in the front pool area, in the home or in the backyard. The pool is absolutely massive and we liked how there was also a jacuzzi in the backyard. We really loved how each bedroom had its own full bathroom and there were even 1.5 extra bathrooms on top of that! Property Management was quick to send someone out when we notified them that we couldn’t access the pool inflatables, which were locked in the garage. Our group likes to cook and they had good quality cookware, which was impressive. We can’t wait for an excuse to stay here again! Five out of five stars!

Father's Day weekend and Kate's BD

We had the best time 8 adults in one family could ever have. Loved the pool, loved all the photos and art work in the home. This truly is a Home for Hope! I wish the spa was at ground level and part of the pool but you can't have everything? Overall it was very comfortable and very clean. Room to spread out and views of the mountains were amazing too. Service from the team at Acme was exceptional!

Great Family Getaway

The home and property was clean, well-appointed and beautiful. We had a group of 10 and always felt like we had plenty of room to gather together but also spend some quiet time alone. The beds were very comfortable. Just short walk to shops, restaurants and bars. It was a fantastic stay!

Wonderful Home

Beautiful home and very spacious! Neighborhood was beautiful and just over a mile walk to town which was very easy. Spacious park nearby too for walking. No twin beds. Management company was very quick to respond when we had an issue. Would definitely return.

Amazing historic property.

Wonderful property. Exactly as described and shown in pictures. It was perfect for our group of friends, including children. Very comfortable beds and a perfect layout. We so enjoyed our stay and the fabulous pool.

Exquisite Vacation And Home

This was a 75th birthday that included 6 adults and 3 children under 6. The spaciousness of the home allowed for us all to be under one roof, but to have ample rooms for sleeping, playing and quiet. The pool, with available toys, was amazing. Sitting under the awning in the hot Palm Springs air was divine. The back sitting area allowed for meals outside d lots of running room for children. The kitchen was well supplied. The home itself brought Bob and Delores Hope to life. What a privilege to stay in their well appointed home. Acme Rental was superb. They were responsive to questions and requests, and always friendly. This company is the best I’ve encountered. This felt like a genuine Palm Springs vacation. We are all ready to come back.

Excellent location, home and pool!

Loved this location in Movie Colony East. Walkable to downtown and to a nice city park. The home is nicely appointed with all bedrooms spread out and offering their own bathrooms. There were 10 of us and I would have appreciated having more than 1 bath towel/person for a 5 night stay, but, it was nice having 1 pool towel/person and we just had to do a little extra laundry to have clean bath towels. The kitchen could have been stocked better, but it was manageable. We loved having the bar with all of the stemware and plastic cup options for the pool. The home is furnished with Target and Ikea quality items, but, it is very functional and still has that fun mid-century modern vibe. Overall, a wonderful property and high marks for ACME House Rentals, whom I will use again.

An Escape Back in Time

Lovely, incredibly well-maintained property. Sparkling clean. The grounds are beautiful, and the property (which sits on two lots) is larger than it appears in the photos. LOVED the nostalgic, mid-century decor. Despite the new appliances and modern conveniences, we felt transported back in time. Quiet neighborhood, yet just 5 minutes from downtown Palm Springs. Excellent communication with responsive property management. Would absolutely return.
