July20-28, 2025If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place to unwind from the hustle/bustle of life Reel Time on Alligator Point is your next vacation! This quaint beachhouse is perfect. Lisa & Bob have thought of everything you could possible need from kitchen supplies to towels, board games, beach toys, 3 kayaks, paddle board, fishing gear, beach shelters/chairs, grill supplies and so much more. The screened porch has phenomenal views while enjoying your morning coffee, providing an afternoon refuge from the sun and a place for evening relaxation. The dock is great for fishing, crabbing and watching sunrise/sunset. You may even see dolphins hunting or a manatee out for a swim, as we did. This vacation retreat is perfect for a large and/or multi-generational family. Trident & Angelo's are two local restaurants we tried and would recommend. The Tidal Coast gas station across from Angelo's carries incidentals you may have forgotten during your larger grocery shopping in Crawfordville (this is where you will want to get groceries prior to arrival to Alligator Point). Our time flew by and we had to return to Ohio too soon. We will be back again because this place is a lil slice of heaven. Thank you for sharing your home, Lisa & Bob. ***Don't waste any more time book this place before someone else does!!!

The best beach house ever!

We had the best week at a beach than we’ve ever had. The house had everything we needed from fully stocked kitchens to cook in to a paddle board and kayaks to play with. I can’t wait to book the house again next year.

We had a great time here! The water and sand were perfect. The property is as advertised. The 2 kitchens are great for a family that cooks too. By way of constructive criticism the cushions on the furniture and the pillows need to be replaced - minor inconvenience though.

My happy place

Mom’s happy place is what our daughter named her photo of me in a rocker, feet propped up watching the sunset. And that’s so true. We loved it so much we reserved for June 2025 by the 2nd day. It’s so “old Florida”, homey, quirky, easy with 4 generations together. Yet everything you need is provided. The beds were comfortable too, not so in many vacation rentals. Really nice showers,including the outdoor one. We practically lived on the huge screened porch. It was exactly what we were looking for. No fast food places or towering condos. Just the sea, the bay, the quiet.

Annual Girls Trip!

This is our second time at Reel Time for our annual beach trip. We love it there! We LOVE the porch and outdoor shower. Reading, paddling and taking long walks are our favorite activities. We got up close and personal with a few dolphins and even saw some sting rays! Seeing sealife is a regular event. The house is very comfortable and there is always a nice breeze on the beach.

It was a wonderful place! The kids had a blast and we enjoyed walking the beach and fishing. The porch is really nice! The owners are clearly great people and the neighbors were really friendly.

Great time with family

Loved the house. Everyone had lots of room and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Enjoyed the rocking chairs on the back porch watching the sun come up and dolphins play and pelicans dive for breakfast.

SHHHHHH!!!!

Where to begin? Well, Alligator Point is not for everyone. HOWEVER, if you like quiet beaches, gorgeous sunsets and none of the touristy stuff, this might be for you. REELTIME IS ALMOST PERFECT! My favorite parts are the screened in porch the length of the house, and the outdoor shower! I was up early and up late, just sitting on the porch listening to the surf. Saw some dolphins-porpoises (?) a few times! The outdoor shower is just something unique and very handy. I took all of my showers out there! Plenty of room for a family in there! 2 kitchens and 2 living rooms is very convenient for 2 families or just the extra space! Lisa and Bob have thought of everything down to the lamps with charging stations! Beds are so comfortable and linens aplenty! Such a short walk to the beach
not even a walk. I’ll take the point beach over any other beach. No worries about finding a spot. The beach is YOURS! Few steps makes this perfect to go in and out without worry. We hope to return. I have fallen in love with Reeltime. ❀

Best kept secret

What could be better than 2 of everything. Plenty of room. Well stocked kitchen. Lots of extras like kayaks, paddle boards, boogie boards, toys, fishing gear. We have stayed in lots of homes on alligator point and this is our favorite. We love the house and the owners are fantastic- very responsive and accommodating. House is always clean and what could be better than to be right on the beach. Plus the sandbar at low tide is right in front of the house. This is my favorite and best kept secret beach trip!! Don’t tell people I wouldn’t want this to become popular. You might see a dozen people the whole time.

Love this real Florida beach house

About 4 steps down to beachfront -sugar white sands. No hauling stuff/kids/groceries up stairwells or elevators. OG long Florida beach house, fantastic screened porch, rocking chairs, porch swing, daybed, outdoorshower (2 indoor ones also) grills, smokers, firepit etc. Front and back decks. Kayaks, beach chairs. Duplex: each side with kitchen, great room and 2 bed,1 ba. Connected/ able to be open between or closed off if you have different temperature preferences. Hesitate to recommend this place, because we have been coming for so many years and love it so much, we dont want to not be able to reserve it!

Paddling at Alligator Point

Such a great trip and place to stay! It had everything we needed plus more. From bandaids to koozies to water access just where we needed it, Reel Time thought of all the little details. This an annual trip for old friends from college who like to paddle board. Reel Time did not disappoint. We are all women, age 50+, and this place was so wonderful with it's amazing location, great screened porch, fun quirky decor and comfortable beds! The only thing we lacked were a few screens on the bedroom windows. The temps were low enough not to need the AC, so we had all windows and doors open with screens to get the amazing breeze and hear the waves. Thanks for being great hosts Lisa and Bob. We will be back!

We enjoyed our stay at ReelTime. Aliigator Point is a beautiful place, nice and quiet like we like it. The owners thought of absolutely everything we might possibly need for out stay. Truly, such thoughtful owners and great communication. We really enjoyed all the space to hangout in and the porch. The beds and chairs were also all really comfy! Thanks for a great week!!
