Neighborhood: If you like the skunky smell of pot wifting through the air 8am to 4am from the three decker porches from multiple houses on both sides..., if you like the culture that can't wear their pants at waist level so their underwear and and butt hang out..., if you like the culture who hang in groups of 8 guys with two girls who are barely dressed..., if you like a culture who sit in your beach chairs and umbrellas you paid to have set up on the beach for your family every day... well let me tell you, this place is for you.
House: Upon arrival, the home was dirty, not filthy, but dirty. For example, neither refrigerators were clean. All you had to do was open the refrigerator doors and drawers to be greeted by hairs, smudges of food and in the freezer yellow ice in the bottoms of drawers from previous thawed food. Floors were gritty and smeared where someone must have simply run a dirty damp mop. Every area rug in the home had multiple stains and seen its better days, plus they weren't vacuumed clean. And by the way, the vacuum that existed for our use was missing a wheel so it was unusable. There were minimal towels and wash cloths, not enough for all bathrooms. The living room furniture is old looking, uncomfortable, doesn't match and is collectively too large for the small space. The upper bunks are way too high to feel comfortable letting small children(6-9) sleep in. If you look at the homes on both sides, each of their decks are appointed with comfortable padded furniture. This house, the two upper decks have only two units to sit on, both hard flatt plastic. So if you're hoping for a night of relaxing star gazing on the deck off your room, it won't happen here. When we arrived on Friday, the two garbage cans were sitting by the road overflowing. And the garbage wasn't picked up until Monday. On Tuesday, the cans were overflowing again...appears the cleaning crews from both homes around us filled them. There's more to tell but we'll leave it at that.
Property Managment:
Besides the house not being clean. With any request it took them days sometimes to reply. We reached out for help only three times. When they did respond, it was with unsatisfactory results For example, the hard unusable deck furniture. For chaise lounge style chairs, they showed up with cheap, Wallmart, 1 inch thick cushions designed for a small patio chair. Besides being to thin for comfort, they were about 1/3 the size of the loungers.
