We had a marvelous time at this beautiful beach house! It was so lovely to wake up, walk past (or jump right into) the pool and onto the gorgeous beach. We'd love to come back. Here's an honest overview of our stay:
The Good:
Two laundry rooms- one on each floor
Ample, fluffy beach towels provided
Fully stocked kitchen (cups with lids, dishes, etc)
Updated, artistic decor
Custom bunk beds
A bathroom for each bedroom
Location and privacy
Management communication: they stopped by when we arrived to make sure we were well settled
Separate ice maker, huge pantry
Private outdoor shower
Open concept main level living area with gorgeous views
Infinity style pool
The Bad:
Tiny ants/gnats in the kitchen!
WiFi was terribly spotty. (A few of us were working remotely and had awful challenges with connectivity)
No work spaces (Again, for a week-long stay, a desk or two would be nice)
No recycling
Sound in the main living area (The volume/sound bar was seemingly possessed. When management came, they ended up having to unplug the sound bar, and it was not fixed by the time we left; so we never got the full movie night experience we were looking forward to.)
The bedroom facing the street has no closet.
The handle on the back sliding door was backwards when we got there! They promptly fixed it, but it was still very difficult to open.
The Suggestions:
HOOKS! All of us found it odd that a beach house didn't have more hooks in the bathrooms and even outside.
Recycling bins ... it's 2021!
More hangers in the closets
Light dimmers & fan speed adjusters
Better WiFi
Ability to leave/donate unused supplies (charcoal, unopened food staples, etc)
Firmer pillow options - all of them were soft and fluffy, and not bad, but everyone in our family prefers firmer pillows
