Warning! Do NOT book! Awful host

It would be an understatement to rate this host as bad. We made a reservation for 5 nights in Oaris for new years. We traveled all over Europe and was coming from Italy across the Swiss and French Alps (through Mont Blanc). I left her know we were doing an 18 hour trip and we planned to arrive around 12-2PM, pending any weather or traffic issues. Keep in mind this is December in Europe across the Alps. Also explained we would have little to no connectivity as we go through the 10 hour winter drive through the Alps). We had the bad luck of having snow. Due to the altitude and many curves in the Alps roads people and us had to drive extremely slow. We messaged when we could hoping the message would go through that we were running later but we would be there. We arrive in Paris around 4:30-5PM. Stopped at a McDonald to eat and use the WiFi and we find that the host CANCELED out reservation stating we didn’t show. We contacted VRBO and they gave us her number to call but never responded to any texts, calls, emails or messages through VRBO. VRBO had to put us up as emergency stay and they did a great job handling our stay covering the cost our overpay for the hotel they put us on. This “host” left us stranded on New Year’s Eve, as we traveled to Paris with our Daughter for her 15anera. We ended up having to pay 3X what our reservation was because everything was full on New Year’s Eve in Paris. I warn anyone that tries to reserve with this host. Save yourself the grief.

Clean and well organized flat

It was a clean, well organized flat. Christine responds very quickly and she is very nice to deal with. She is very flexible. The flat is small but enough for 2 to 3 people to stay and enjoy if you don’t plan to stay inside. The location is good with metro right there, however it is a good 15 to 20 minute ride to the attractions. The neighborhood is safe but not an area to hang out and visit. Overall a good flat!

Everything was o.k.

We were in your Apartment for 4 Nights. You have to climb a ladder to get into your bed and the View out of the window is not thrilling. But we weren‘t there to stay in the appartment but to see Paris! Metro Station is close. Everything else was fine. The host is Great! We would Home back.
