The hotel staff were friendly and the hotel is a short walk from a well-connected metro station. However, the check-in area was shabby. The bedroom had a chair in it with a palm-sized while in the fabric. The bathroom had tepid hot water and the handheld shower head did not work at all. The emergency phone in the bathroom had shredded wires connecting the handle to the phone. Worst of all, the heating for the bedroom and bathroom were not working.

Hotel location was great and safe. Hotel was about 15 minute walk to the base of the Eiffel Tower. I reserved a room for 4 people (my wife, 14 year old and 11 year old daughters and myself). I did feel like the room was way too small for 4 people. Not enough room to walk around and not enough space for our luggage. Our room size would be fine for 2 people, but not 4 people.

The staff was great! The location was amazing it was a short walk from the tower and we got to see the Eiffel Tower from our room! There were plenty of restaurants nearby as well. The bed was really big and comfortable. The only cons were that they only had small size bath robes, when I called to order a bigger size even a medium the front desk informed me there are no other sizes. Additionally, they have a QR code for room service. However, not only do they not deliver it to your room and make you come get it from the front desk. But it is not in building, it seemed to be from a third party the food was cold and there is no microwave. When I went to pick up the food the staff did not know what was going on and didn’t know room service was available. Another down side was the shower, there is only a 2-3 foot piece of glass covering a fraction of the shower which leads to a lot of water on the floor which makes it very slippery and dangerous. Other than that everything was great there is a subway entrance near the hotel which made it easy to get around. Roberto was great and friendly! Thank you again!

Ares Hotel was excellent and the rooms clean and great location. Everyone at Hotel were very helpful and humble. Our room request to be on higher floors was provided. Room was very comfortable and we had an awesome comfort. Location of hotel was great just few minutes walk to train station and Eiffel Tower. Isabelle, Roberto and every employee in hotel were very helpful. Thank you for an awesome experience.

Quick check in/out. Clean room, comfortable bed. We chose the Superior Room for the small balcony to enjoy fresh air. Close walk to food and the Tower. Easy access point for Bolt/Uber. Friendly staff. They let us store our luggage for a few hours after checking out.

The staff was wonderful and the rooms and hotel were very clean. The staff was very helpful and even helped me with my Navigo pass. The beds were not comfortable at all. That was the most unpleasant experience. I tossed and then all night for 7 nights. They have a mini bar for 5 euros everyday it was worth it. They have a coke, Perrier, and 2 waters everyday. The rooms have a mini fridge and coffee maker. We had a balcony and I loved that the double door opened. The hotel is close to the station. The hotel was about at 10-15 min walk to the Eiffel Tower.

The staff was very nice and and the room was clean. However, the elevator was small and you could hear other guests in their rooms which wasn’t great when you were trying to sleep. Thankfully, it was not on a busy street so not too much noise from the outside. Not a bad hotel but overpriced in my opinion.

The staff at this hotel were so pleasant and helpful for these first time Americans traveling to Paris. The hotel was in a good location. Plenty to eat around the area. Loved the beautiful flower market around the corner. The room was small (the European way) but clean and appropriately decorated.

The room and the staff amenities were all good and very good. The poor rating was given because at check in, in addition to a deposit, there was insistence to scan my credit card (and passports). I was told that is the hotel requirement, but I stated clearly that a request for a copy of my credit card including pin, expiry and long card number is unacceptable.
