We stayed for 8 days with HCE- Just a few blocks walk from the Champs Élysées shopping mecca and the 1 and 9 Metro rail lines to get you to all the popular destinations. The staff were so gracious and provided quick assistance when we had questions, a need, or directions! Nestled in a very quiet neighborhood. Close to the Monoprix and Framprix grocery stores.

Absolutely everything we wanted and more. We wanted a charming French hotel. We got one. Lots of convenient cafe for coffee, dinner was right around the corner with lots of excellent choices. We had a room with a French balcony and we left our door open to bring sounds and fresh air into our little sitting room. Perfection. Only miss for me was breakfast, not quite up to what I hoped for. It was ok but coffee was disappointing.

While the hotel is charming, it is also out dated. The room felt old. The tub was very high and dangerous to get in & out of. The central air was not working. The shampoo provided is a 2 in 1 shampoo & body wash and no hair conditioner is provided.

Superb location for sightseeing and shopping. Solo travelling to Paris. Staff super friendly. I felt very safe. This is a typical boutique hotel and yes the decor may appear a little dated, but take into consideration that the walls are covered in fabric not wallpaper. Staff were superb and so helpful. I didn't eat breakfast in the hotel as I wanted to see Paris and have traditional cafe experiences. Would I stay here again? Definitely a yes from me.
