It really worked for us as a gay couple because we wanted to explore the bars and restaurants of the "gay" Marais, and this hotel was a great location. But let me speak to the "free" breakfast that most certainly was not "free". Even when I checked in they made sure to assure me my breakfasts were "included". But on check-out they assured me they were not and charged me hundreds of euros for the two of us. We liked the restaurant. But at 25 euros each per morning it really adds up. We also had an unexpected "Paris city tax" they wanted up front at check in although I prepaid all the hotel charges on Expedia, or so I thought, so that was another $60 Euros cash. I know. Everything in Paris is pricey. We were pretty generous. But we got taken advantage of by one taxi driver pretty badly for cash. And the restaurant in the Eiffel Tower really was greatly overpriced.
