It was hard to find at first, the room was dated but fairly clean. The air conditioning didn’t work and there was a sign in the room explaining this but we had not been told prior therefore the room got hot at night and needed to open the window which meant it was very noisy

If you need a simple and affordable hotel option in Paris, this is it! About a ten minute walk to Notre Dame Cathedral and great restaurants. I would stay here again.

What a bargain. Very clean, comfortable bed and wonderful linens. And a big old fashioned bath tub. I’will definitely recommend this hotels to friends and plan to stay again in the future.

I have stayed here before. No glamorous front desk, and the rugs in the hallways are very shabby. The rooms are clean and big, very spacious. The breakfast is excellent and in a charming room, as well as a charming room for coffee and tea. Great location! right on the Rue de Rivoli. If you want a good bed, big room, clean, great location and great breakfast, this is the place. If you want high end style, look somewhere else. I love this hotel.

Location Location Location! could not ask for a better place for those who like to walk. Stayed 6 nights. Definitely needs an upgrade and no air conditioning, but there was a fan in the room. No phone connecting the room to the lobby in case of emergencies. The guys at front desk were nice enough but had no idea where anything was when I asked which seemed strange.

Good mid range hotel. Comfortable bed and necessary amenities. Staff friendly and accommodating. Plenty of nice restaurants around. Yet quiet once you’re are inside the hotel/room. Metro is a few minutes away. Negative—Carpet in the stairs is stained and worn out.

Remarkable experience! Everything is close, walking distance. Metro easy to get to, have enough cafes, grocery and pharmacy stores nearby. Great boutiques too! Clean and cozy!

Great location, and our room was at the back so we weren't bothered by street noise. The room was small but the bed was very comfy. There was a bit of mould in the shower but everything else was very clean. It was a shame that the air conditioning wasn't working, as that was one of the reasons we chose this hotel - however, they did supply a very good fan as a replacement.

The staff was exceptional. The salon on the second floor was very nice, especially since we were traveling with multiple family members in separate rooms. The air conditioning seemed to be permanently broken, with laminated signs in the rooms telling us that it was out of order, but no indication beforehand telling us that it was out of order. This was especially a problem because Paris was having a heat wave. The elevator broke down twice during our visit, which was rough being on the 4th floor (American 5th floor). Our rooms were tiny to begin with, but after we returned to Paris, we had a much bigger room for one night. It would have been nice to have that big room when we were there for a full week. We would stay here again, unless we travel during a heatwave!

This hotel was cute, quaint and convenient in dining and shopping locations as well as easy to use the metro. The hotel was clean and staff was available 24/7. The ac was broken and that was one reason we picked this hotel in the middle of summer in Paris was for ac for when we slept. The cost per night was high for no amenities. Coffee is also only available after 2pm in the lounge which was a little weird. Staff was friendly.

As stated in other reviews the hotel needs to be updated / painted. One big problem was the AC did not work. The front desk did not say anything about it. Once I was in my room there was a label stating the AC was not working. So it seems it has been broken awhile.
