This stay marked a disappointing conclusion to our honeymoon trip across France. The sour demeanor of the receptionist should have been a red flag but everyone has their bad days. Despite upgrading to the "superior" room it was laughably small, even for Paris. It was on the bottom floor looking into a "courtyard" so confined it was not possible to tell if the sky was blue by looking out the window. A minibar was supposed to be included, but the fridge was empty. The Nespresso pods are knock-offs, and not good ones. This hotel is new and therefore the market is still searching for fair value, something tells me it will come in much less than what they are currently asking for, despite the chic bar and great location - at least for room 107.
