The apartment was a great find for us. Great location, plenty of markets/restaurants around, and easy access to public transportation. It was a perfect stay for our first trip to Paris.
Location! Location was great surrounded by shops, markets, boulangeries, restaurants, bus and entry to the famous passage right across. The cafe across the street is open late at night so we even had late night crepes and shakes at midnight! The property is clean, everything in good working condition, bit outdated but has everything you need to be comfortable. Toilet tip - hold the flusher for at least 5 seconds to completely flush! Took me few tries to figure that out. Luckily, no heat waves during our stay but if you get hit by one, those AC units will not cool the room. To use the AC, you have to open the entire backdoor to run the exhaust pipe so all the heat will still flow into the room negating the cool air from the AC. I did notice the street noise some reviewers mentioned but it didn't bother us. Overall, we had a great stay. Property owners were very communicative even before we arrived and check-in was a breeze. I would stay here again.
We spent 5 great nights at this apartment with a family of 4. It is located close to at least four metro stations which you can walk to in less than five minutes. The street the apartment is on as many options as well as bakeries, it is a lively neighborhood with lots of amenities. The apartment itself is spacious, for a family I really liked the shower being in a separate room than the toilet. The kitchen is a reasonable size, with a washer and dryer and a full size fridge, there is a stove top but no oven. There is a good size living room and seating area and you can open the windows onto the street and look out. There is also very spacious table if you wish to bring food back and eat.The big bonuses at this place:-In the heat of summer the 2 portable air conditioning units were a great bonus. -location was amazingly accessible-itâs on the third floor, but there is an elevator to get up-It seems very secure, you need to access two doors before getting to the stairs/elevators.-the owners and communication were amazing. -It is in good size flat for a family, you donât feel like you are living on top of each otherIf I return to Paris, we will certainly be seeing if we can stay here again.
This apartment was in a great location! Walkable to many sites and with great access to metro/bus. The apartment is quaint but worked well with our family. It was clean and had what we needed. Just to clarify there is a portable ac unit which was a bit tricky to work and didnât cool much but fortunately despite the warm temps during our visit the evenings were not too bad so was just a bit warm in the apartment. A couple of standing fans helped. Lots of restaurants outside the apartment but can be a bit noisy at night and be prepared to be awaken by the recycle/garbage trucks in the early morning for daily pick up. However, we really enjoyed our stay and the owners and manager were readily available as needed.
Overall, it was a very nice place to stay. The apartment was in the heart of Paris making traveling on the trains very easy and accessible. The train station was maybe a 2 minute walk and the Opera House was a 15 minute walk. In only 15 minutes, you were in central Paris. There were also so many cafes, grocery stores, and pharmacy all located on the same street as the apartment. One thing to note, is that this apartment is on the third floor which means you will need to walk up 3 flights of stairs. There is an elevator, but it is very small and can only fit one person at time. Overall, this apartment was good for what we needed during our trip to Paris.
We were 5 girls for a long weekend. The location was excellent, could walk to so many places and also close to multiple subway lines. The neighbourhood is lovely. The place itself was great. The only thing is that it's only 1 bathroom split over two rooms- ie. one room has the tub/shower and a sink, the other bathroom has a toilet and sink. Hosts were lovely to work with and check in/check out was super easy. Would definitely stay here again.
We had a good stay- 4 adults and 1 child. The apartment is in a convenient location. The accommodations are comfortable and were just what we needed to spend quality time together as a family. In the listing I mistakenly read two bathrooms to mean two toilets; note there is one water closet with a sink and toilet and one shower room with a tub/shower combo and sink. Having a washer and dryer was a nice perk. The communication with the owners and property manager was great. We look forward to returning soon!
My adult daughter and I stayed at this apartment for 8 days and thoroughly enjoyed the location and environs. The neighborhood was lively and vibrant with stores, shops, restaurants, bakeries, etc to meet anyoneâs needs. Two metro stops were just a few blocks away. The owners were frequently in touch and always readily available.
Our family of 4 had a lovely stay in this charming apartment! We were within a five minute walk to several metro stops, markets, cafes, and restaurants. Right across the street is the entrance to the covered passages, which was a nice option on the rainy days to get to a metro. We would definitely stay here again!
We stayed in the property for 3 weeks. We know Paris and the location can't be beat...3 metro stops super close, restaurants, artisan bakery next door, supermarket very close. The apartment itself is in very good shape, but could use some TLC in places. It definitely has been well used but also cared for. It has everyhing you could want(except a dishwasher). Kitcgen is small but works. Owners are very friendly and helpful and there is a person in the building to assist when needed. This apt. is on the 3rd floor but there is a small elevator. The 3 flights of stairs are challenging but we used them all the time. The street is busy and can be noisey at times but that's city living. We would go back.
Everything was great. The apt was comfortable and clean. Great location. Grocery stores around the corner. Emmanuelle and Clara are wonderful and so helpful. Thank you letting us visit your amazing city and live in the great apt.
The apartment had everything we could need and the hosts were kind and showed us around. We were able to walk to the Seine by the Louvre in about 30 mins (going slowly and taking photos) and also easily catch metro trains to the Eiffel tower or the Sacre Coeur. Plenty of places to buy food to eat or out nearby.
Sweet little 2 bedroom place. The bus stop is right outside the door. It has a washer/dryer combo that we werenât familiar with using, but it was a handy feature to have, we just ended up hanging things to fry with a fan blowing on them overnight. The toilet has itâs own room and little sink which was great! Weâll be back.
So much to do in this neighborhood, and close to several Metro stops, making the rest of the city very accessible. Super clean apartment, if not a little dated in furnishings and amenities. Coffee makers were broken and could use replacing. Small living dining area, but perfectly acceptable for four adults to lounge. Bedrooms large, bedding clean. We didnât have to use the AC but there are 2 window units in living room and main bedroom. Street is loud as some reviewers note, but earplugs worked great at night, and we liked being in proximity to so many restaurant options, shops and bars. Garbage/cooking smell came in the back bedroom window so we had to keep windows closed in there. WiFi spotty at times.
We had an amazing 5 days in Paris and enjoyed our stay at Quartier du Faubourg-Montmartre. The apartment was easy to reach via a number of Metro stations and was in a great area. The apartment was nice and clean and large enough for our family of five. Livio and Joelle were great hosts too and were very responsive and helpful when we reached out to them. The only very minor issue was the heat, as the air conditioning wasnât overly effective. That said, we didnât expect to be sweating through 35 degrees in September! Thanks again Livio and Joelle for a great stay.
We had a great stay at the apartment. Great location, very convenient for seeing the various areas and several metro stops within walking distance. Great food choices in the area and many open late. Beds were very comfy, fans and windows made it nice and cool. There was a portable a/c available. Shower and WC were separate, so nice when one was occupied we were not stuck waiting for the other. Washer/dryer worked great, plenty of towels. We used the kitchen once and everything worked well, plenty of cooking utensils and plates, pans. The only thing that I could think to add to the apartment is a few ice trays.
We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again! The host was wonderful and the property manager was very responsive to our needs.
Excellent property, well maintained and good location. Appreciated elevator access. Nice neighborhood with close Metro stops and bus outside door. Multiple cafes and grocery stores nearby.
Very easy and good contact with the owners. Beautiful Parisian apartment in fabulous central location. The street is noisy at night so take ear plugs for the front bedroom.
We really enjoyed the apartment. Everything was perfect. We had everything we needed. The location was perfect and close to the metro. There were so many restaurants and shops near by. And the property manager and her daughter were very accommodating. The owners checked in periodically to make sure we were ok and that we had everything we needed. It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely back. We will book this apartment every time we are in Paris in the future.
