This is a delightful family owned hotel. We had such a warm welcome with friendly helpful staff. The hotel is historic but immaculate with lots of charm. Our room was freshly renovated, compact but with a nice bathroom and small seating area, it was identical to the marketing. The location was perfect for walking around Paris and shopping the charming boutiques of the area there are plenty of excellent eating options very close and the staff are very helpful with recommendations. We loved our stay here.

The Du Vieux Paris was a wonderful place for a Parisian visit. It is convenient to walk to most of the key sites and excellent restaurants. The neighborhood immerses one in the visit! The rooms are quiet and nicely appointed, the beds are comfortable and there is space to unpack and enjoy the stay. We especially want to compliment the staff for their help and insights - both pointing us in the right direction of key attractions and restaurants but also helping us understand the culture, language and sense of the city. Thank you, Gil, Basile and especially Jean-Marie, for making our stay enjoyable and educational. We will definitely be back!

Location is excellent - very close to attractions (Notre Dame and Louvre and so much more) major metro and bus, and dining options. Although it is in a very busy area, the hotel itself is tucked away on a small quiet street so it is not noisy at all. Very quiet. The staff is superbe, friendly and helpful. Note that this is a small Paris hotel with tiny elevator, tight stairs, and somewhat basic in room amenities, but it is also very pretty and very clean. And has airconditioning. Location!!!!

Fabulous lovation near Saint Michel-Notre Dame Metro, lots of cafes and the Seine nearby. Fabulous hoswers and contrary to Expedia small print it does have a (small) elevator. In the 60s it was a famous hotle for Beat Poets with the likes of Jack Kerouac, William S Burroughs and Allen Ginsberg!

A welcoming home from home in the heart of Paris

We just had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We had a suite with a double bed for us and a single bed in a separate area for our son. The staff at this hotel were absolutely amazing, so welcoming, and this hotel is really nice. Right in the heart of things, just a short walk from many of the attractions. Cannot recommend highly enough.
