r return and let My assigned bed was occupied by a jerk who refused to move to their bed. The front desk confirmed this, but was afraid to confront the person when they refused to move (he was pretending to be asleep even though we very loudly asked me to move). After I found a manager to help, I was told I had to move to a different room. Why did I have to pay in time and effort to change rooms for what this jerk did? You made me move instead of him. Please grow a backbone and confront jerks who do this kind of thing or they'll keep doing it over and over. Look up his name and ban him from staying at any of your hostels anywhere around the world, or I will never return and let everyone know how this was handled.

the maintenance is below average. The lift doesn’t work at some floors, and our door was out of battery so We could not access to the room with the key. There was DJ in the bar and if you are not lucky to be allocated a room facing to patio side, you would suffer the noise till 1 am everyday. but great location to paris north and east station.

I arrived at midnight and left at 8am, so did not use many facilities - but could see they offered a Thanksgiving dinner which I thought was nice. Vending machine for snacks and beverages. Book exchange shelf which is always welcome when traveling in Europe.

This one night stay was terrible. You can here the music form the bar downstairs very loud until 1pm, which makes it impossible to sleep. For the price paid I would have also expected better quality rooms.

Breakfast was probably the best part of the stay. Some of the showers were out of order and the ones that were operational the cubicles were falling appart. The floor in the corridors were ripped which is a trip hazard.

The hostel is amazing can not say anything bad about it but the area is VERY unsafe for a solo female traveler! The area is always surrounded by men just standing around be especially aware of your surroundings at night!
