Eat dinner early, and mind the construction view

My wife and I made a quick getaway here after coming back from a work trip. The hotel was beautiful, the room was fantastic. Couple of gripes. The restaurant closes at 9pm!? We had a flight that landed in SLC at about 8 so by the time we got here we just missed dinner. That seems pretty early for a resort style hotel. We called down and requested extra pillows and no one ever showed up. Lastly and most importantly…we paid for a Mountain View room and instead we had construction view. Nothing says romantic getaway like a dude in a hard hat standing outside your bedroom sliding glass doors at 7:45am making solid eye contact

Chose to stay here based on others reviews and have no regrets. This place was great, loaded with amenities. Ski rental, ski valet, ski shuttle, close to slopes, bar, restaurant, Starbucks, spa, pool, it was great. The room was fully appointed with everything we could need. Staff was professional, attentive, friendly. The perfect resort. I look forward to staying there again. Highly recommend

The room and hotel are super clean. Our room was near the restaurant and all we heard were very loud noises until after 10 PM every night. When we left, I reviewed what my husband booked because I was surprised we had a view of a brown building and cement. Nothing else. However, he booked and paid for a mountain view. So essentially, everything would have been great, had we not received a basement type room and received what we paid for. Your staff is very kind and courteous. The restaurant food was average. We ate there around 5 times out of convenience. The restaurant staff was amazing. Parking was easy and convenient. Just wish we had the full experience with the view we paid for and not a brown building and cement/patio level view of nothing. If that were the case, I would have gladly paid slightly more for the new Hyatt in Deer Valley for a better and more memorable experience.
