This property was fantastic and perfect for our family trip to Paso! Clean, close to everything downtown, and with great little touches that made the house feel very welcoming. There were 6 of us and the space was big enough that we all felt comfortable, not cramped. We really enjoyed all the beautiful sunlight in the place and loved hangin out in the common areas! The host was great at communicating with us; they called before the trip to answer any questions and were always available when I called the number to ask a question. We would definitely stay here again!
This is a charming little house in a great location. Because itâs an older home we needed a little help with the lighting and other systems, but otherwise perfect. Very clean; very comfortable beds.
Perfect location for a wine tasting weekend! We were able to walk to downtown for wine tasting and food. Drive to other wineries was very easy as well. House is well stocked. Set up with two bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs was nice for some privacy. Only caveat is the narrow stairwell.
My family and close friends spent a week at Blue Chestnut. Toured up to the Paso area for wine tastings, relaxing, and enjoying the Central CA Coast. Absolutely tremendous thanks and gratitude to our Blue Chestnut Hosts. The place matches the website's pix and amenities. More importantly, Blue Chestnut offers that 'homely' feel. We love adventures and extracurricular activities, but it's quite rewarding to be able to relax in such an abode, cooking a lovely meal or simply lounging by the outdoor fire pit.I highly recommend Blue Chestnut for all who choose to venture to Paso. Proximity to the classic downtown park, restaurants, coffee shops cannot get topped. And, Paso is so wonderfully contained within a 30 mins radius for easily a week of adventures. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation rental and will absolutely return. Getting the stamp of approval for 'Repeat Customer' summarizes how truly excellent the Blue Chestnut and our Hosts !Thank you again,James D Reynolds
This property was very functional, and fit our needs perfectly. The description of the space and the photos of the house were very accurate. While this is an older house, it's been updated nicely, and the air conditioning and cooling units worked great, which isn't always the case for older houses on the Central Coast. We enjoyed our stay, and also appreciate the excellent communication with the property management team. I would highly recommend this property.
Overall the property was spacious and accommodated our group of 5 perfectly. The house is nicely furnished with a well equipped kitchen and laundry. The only complaint was that there was fair amount of cobwebs, however it is an old homeanhodidexpectamouncobwebs
The house was great for two couples. The location was very convenient to downtown and the wineries. The property manager was responsive to our questions.
The house was a complete mess when we arrived. The cleaning had not been completed. The floors were extremely dirty. The trash bags were still on the floor, in the kitchen, full of trash from the previous guest. It was a disaster! We were 2 days late in arriving, so obviously no one followed up to assure that the home was clean. The best part of the whole experience was the property manager offering to refund us one half of the cleaning fee because half of the house was clean (the beds were made). Are you kidding me??? I did receive half of the cleaning fee, but seriously?? The house was not ready when we arrived!! We were not able to check in until after 6pm. I will not be going back, nor will I rent anything through Paso Robles Vacation Rentals.
This house has everything me and my friends wanted for our "get away from all of the stress of real life" weekend. It's an easy stroll into downtown, and it has perfect spaces to relax and enjoy yourself, inside and out.
This house was clean and well stocked. I just didn't expect it to be so dated. The windows have no screens so you cannot leave them open at night. If you like old world charm this is your place.
We had a great trip, cycling, hiking and wine tasting. The house was clean, well appointed, bedding new and fresh, and in great location to walk to town. The property manager provided excellent customer service. My only warning is that the service fee and host fee are high. But regardless, would stay again!
We enjoyed our stay in this quaint little cottage house on 14th and Chestnut. The location was ideal as we walked to downtown each night. The beds were very comfortable, and even though much of the house had been renovated, I loved certain original elements such as the stained glass window going up the stairway. Thank you for a nice place to stay for our girl's getaway weekend!
