Only issues were with wifi which wasnt bad... It's expected, because it's in the middle of the mountains! Its a beautiful place with great staff, and lots of outdoorsy things to do. Ive been here about 10 times over the past 15 years, and its upgraded, but has the same feel. Me and my wife went to the rim which is nearby, woods canyon lake, which had some snow. We walked tonto creek, played big chess, relaxed at thr bar, had breakfast at the diner. Was a great 12 year anniversary.

Staff was friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. Grounds were well maintained and parking convenient. Restaurant food for both dinner and breakfast was average to below the standard you would expect for this property. The dining area was comfortable and the wait staff were friendly, the food was not great.

Our stay was absolutely incredible! Morgan took such dedicated care of us, and the upgrade she arranged made our trip truly memorable. The cabin was spacious, impeccably clean, and wonderfully cozy. We especially loved the peaceful creek running behind the property; mornings there were magical. If I could give it 10 stars, I absolutely would!
