The Lancaster Arts Hotel was the perfect place for my solo trip. It was in a great location, had excellent food options, and also beautiful touches, such as a rose and local chocolates upon arrival. Such a great experience at this hotel!

Overall great stay, with some room for improvement

Charming and interesting building. The overall experience was very good: the hotel has some free 'perks' that most other hotels charge for (parking, wifi, breakfast) Even though I had to be 'downgraded' to a smaller room because I had to make a last-minute change to my reservation dates, my room was still very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast is relatively basic, but slightly above average. The two things that made my stay improvable were not having window black-outs, and the road noise, which gets loud at times.

Hotel was clean (most importantly) and staff was friendly and helpful. We had accessible room which was small and on 4th floor. Never understand why accessible rooms are on upper floors when elevators cannot be used in event of fire. Attempt to be upscale but not comparable to upscale hotels. However, probably would stay there again if had reason to stay downtown Lancaster.

A masterful reimagining of a vintage warehouse (lots of brick and wood) with an artsy boutique feel. This has been our go-to play to stay in Lancaster for eight years. Especially convenient for anyone visiting Franklin & Marshall.

Rooms on the site show brick walls. I received a room that looked nothing like the pics, no brick wall. It was by the housekeeping closet and the parking deck door. Also, I was charged $40 more for the night than what the actual rate was. It was $99 total, yet Expedia charged me $140.
