It's a very nice property and the neighborhood reminded me of "Stepford" if you get the reference. Almost like too perfect. There are quite a few rules to pay attention to if you don't want to get fined...which is mostly understandable. My kids and their small dog stayed with us for a week and they loved it.The weather was warm most of the time so the pools (the one at the clubhouse across the street and the one on the Lost Key property) were often crowded with no chairs available which, obviously, is a disappointment but not entirely unexpected. The locale for both pools is nice.It's about a half mile walk to the beach but there is a shuttle if you don't wish to walk. I walked.There is a nice Publix store about two miles away. And there are plenty of nice restaurants within, say, 10 miles.It's a nice place if you like to be close to family because the main floor is basically one big room with kitchen, dining and living room all in one "open concept" setting. Other than that, you go to your bedroom for quiet and privacy. There is golf and tennis nearby which is nice if you're into those things...we aren't.We thought it was really nice that there were a bunch of "amenities" such as a gas grill, beach chairs, boogie boards, bicycles, a corn hole game and probably other stuff I'm not remembering. We didn't use those things but nice they were available.I was grateful that the host allowed us a late checkout for a reasonable fee.
