Hotel is old and showing it. Beds were new though and very comfortable. Not enough plug ins and usb ports in the room. All in all a decent stay but the hotel could use a makeover

Getting to the room was confusing, like going through a maze, pool hot tub not open until 10:00am very inconvenient with a 11:00am check out? Could use improved signage and to traffic direction.

The Sandman Hotel in Penticton was a delightful surprise. The staff were friendly, professional and kind. The amenities were plentiful, including a large pool and jacuzzi in a beautiful atrium, as well as a gym and ample lounges for quiet reflection and relaxation. The room was clean and well appointed with a fridge, delicious coffee and a variety of teas available. Coffee was also served in the lobby all morning. Perhaps it was the time of year I was there (September), but it was remarkably quiet, which I loved. There were restaurants nearby and Penticton is very walkable. I walked from one end of Penticton to the other (Okanagan Lake Beach to Skaha Lake Beach) and back. Thank you to the staff at Sandman Hotel for a delightful and wonderful experience.

There is a bar on the property that is cold unwelcoming and run by someone who barely speaks English and has no idea of what is going on in the town. Very cold expensive and unwelcoming. A reason for us not to book this hotel again.

Despite being an older property that I stayed at about 30 years ago, they have maintained this property, kept it clean and was a much more pleasant day than some of the other properties close by that we have stayed at over the years
