Manager of hotel was rude. Dog was walking behind the front desk. Check in was not smooth. I received attitude from front desk, asked to speak to the manager and was treated horribly after traveling 3 hrs to get there in the weather. , sink leaking

They gave away my room after I called and confirmed the day I was arriving and told them I would be a late check in. When I arrived at 10:30 pm they had given my room away. I’m mad at them and mad a hotels.com for not making it right. They should be penalized and I should get two free nights stay at a comparable hotel free of charge for my inconvenience!

My wife and I brought our 5 year old grandson, and we really enjoyed our stay. The pool is great. It’s not gigantic, but it’s heated and it’s indoor/outdoor. You can swim (or walk, it’s not very deep) to one end, push through a plastic flap door and be outside. During our stay it was a frigid 30 degree Illinois Winter Day. Interesting sensation to be in a heated pool outside. Me and the grandson loved it. The wife stayed inside. Most people poke their heads outside for a minute then come back inside. It’s probably a lot of fun during the summer months as well, since there are tables and chairs outside the pool. The hot tub pool is large for a hot tub pool. It was closed for repairs during our stay. The room was clean. Our fridge stayed very cold. The breakfast was good. Eggs, Potatoes, Biscuits and Gravy, Pancake machine, Muffins, Ceral Check in was easy, free parking Very nice Seafood Restaurant across the street
