Christmas Getaway

Brought the whole family up from Alabama to play in the snow. Haven't had any of that the last two years, but the ice skating and ice fishing made up for it. Can't wait to stay here again.

Christmas Vacation

We had 11 people stay at the Winnamakee Shore Lodge and there was plenty of room for all of us and more. Great space for large groups, from the large kitchen with center island to the bunkroom for the kids. We were there over Christmas and were able to ice fish right out front. House was clean and ready for us at arrival. Would recommend for any large group.

2023 Christmas Family Vacation

I grew up in the Pequot Lakes area about eleven miles away from this home on a small farm. I have lived in Alabama now for 35 years and the last four years between Christmas and New Year's we have made this trip up North. I bring my whole family, husband, three kids, two daughter-in-laws and six grands. By having such a wonderful home to stay in, we were able to have local family come over during the days and evenings to visit to enable us to see as many local family members as we can. The kids got to go ice fishing and ice skating. First year we haven't had snow to play in but the lake made up for it. They could play/fish all day outside and come in ready for quiet time in the evenings. So much fun to be had by all. The crappie fishing was excellent!!! and they also caught two really nice walleye and a good sized northern. Thanks again for letting my family hang out at your home. We are hoping we can book it again same time next year!!

This beautiful pleased everyone on us

The house was beautiful. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and space. We had great weather so we spent most of our time outside or in the water. The owners could not have been nicer. We actually tried to book our stay there for next year however, we have to see if our dates are available. We were truly blessed to be able to stay in this house this year. Again, thank you for sharing you beautiful home with us. Hope to see you next year.

Fun at Ossawinnamakee Lodge

Our family enjoyed the lake. Kids jumped on water trampoline and had fun jumping off into the water. Little ones enjoyed fishing off the dock. Caught lots of little fish. We brought our own boat and pulled kids in our tube chair. Nice lake for skiing and tubing and fishing. Bon fires at night, roasting marshmallows and making s’mores. Bring your own roasting forks as there were only two. Created a small problem as we had six kids. Inside kids had fun with the PAC Man arcade game. Family area was great for watching movies and playing games. Lots of space for everyone. Well equipped kitchen. And easy use of grill. Close to convenience store if you need something you forgot. Also area supported other activities if you need a day away from the lake. All and all a great time!

Beautiful home for large gatherings

This home is enormous! It was perfect for a weekend with friends. Would also be ideal for a large family Christmas. There is a LOT to choose from for entertainment on site, from the books and board games to tabletop shuffleboard, ping-pong and Pac-Man. I wish we'd had another day or two to enjoy everything and hope to return soon. A couple of things I found confusing: (1) there is a lockbox on the door frame and a keypad on the front door - use the keypad; (2) the checkout time is listed as 10 a.m. in the book but 11 a.m. in the app. I recommend reading the "how to" section right away, as it was hot upstairs and cold downstairs. We didn't touch the thermostats but some would have been more comfortable if we'd read the instructions on arrival. Don't count on the second refrigerator for storage as it was out of order. The 10 p.m. quiet time was not an issue for us as it was too cold to be outside. The fireplace in the living room is amazing!! The kitchen space is incredible. If you go off site, I highly recommend Bingo at Manhattan Beach on Saturdays, the food at Moonlite Bay in Crosslake, and the distillery experience at 5Rocks in Brainerd. Honestly, I look forward to going back. :-)

A fantastic property for a large group

This is a great property with lots of room for family and children. The children loved the bunk room above the garage. The views of the lake are fantastic as is the house itself. There are several areas to relax, books to read, and games to play - including a shuffleboard and ping pong table. We will definitely be returning to this property.

Superb spacious home on a beautiful clear lake!

This was the perfect home for us, our 3 sons & their families to enjoy a family vacation right on the lake. Beautiful, spacious 6 bedroom home with an amazing kitchen & large island provided plenty of space for all! The lake was very clear & the water trampoline was a highlight! Adam is a very responsive owner, who made sure all our questions were answered. We're looking forward to vacationing there again!

Exceeded everyone’s expectations

Wow, this place had it all, not a single thing to complain about. We we’re in town for a wedding and have a few families staying together. It was incredible. Amazing house, lots of room for everyone and a great open areas for everyone to hang out. The front yard was even better, great hang out space and lots of room for games and fire pits. The beach was amazing, kids could swim and there was a very nice dock for our boat. The lake was great to cruise and surf or whatever you wanted to do. The owners also had several games and water toys. We have stayed at several VRBOs and this was our favorite. Everything was perfect.

Amazing property

This is one of the nicest VRBO’s we’ve ever rented. Beautiful house, with a ton of room – huge bedrooms and plenty of space for eating, playing, and lounging. Everything was clean and nice and the owners provided pretty much everything you needed inside and outside the home – dishes, coffee maker, blender, gas grill, etc. (really soft towels, BTW). The yard is excellent. Nice and flat and plenty of room for yard games. The beach is nice and the lake bottom is sandy but the water trampoline was the real hit. My kids spent hours on that thing. The kayaks and stand up paddle board were a lot of fun, and there was a nice, 3 person tube we could pull behind the boat. The lake is excellent. Super clear, not too busy, a lot of loons and bald eagles, and the fishing was some of the best I’ve ever seen. I lost count of how many fish my kids caught by the end of the first day. The owners are great – they answered all our questions, helped us find somewhere to rent a boat, and were very responsive. We will definitely rent this VRBO again.

Great Cabin for a Multi-Family Stay

Our multi-family group had an amazing week stay over the 4th of July. Adam was wonderful to work with and was very responsive. Any question or concern we had was addressed right away. The home itself was clean and the kitchen well equipped with cooking utensils and dishes, the ice machine was an added bonus to help keep up with the demand since it was HOT! The rooms were spacious and allowed for everyone to have a place to sleep comfortably. The water trampoline was a great surprise and the kids never wanted to get off! The yard was great for all of our games; kickball, badminton, kubb, and a large scavenger hunt. There were plenty of outdoor chairs to accommodate our large group without needing to use our camping chairs. The internet worked well during the rainy day when we spent our time inside watching movies. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come again!

Great Lake Getaway

Amazing lake, clear and calm waters! Perfect for skiing and tubing with the kids! Great location on the water, sandy beach area, fun water trampoline too. Kayaks and paddle board were a hit as well! Lots to do on the water. House has a huge kitchen and lots of space. Loft upstairs provides a second “hang out” area as well. Would definitely rent again!

Amazing expereince

We had a great stay at Breezy Point. We were a group of six adults and three kids. We enjoyed our vacation to the fullest. The house is well-maintained and beautiful. It is right on the lake with boat access, a sandbox, and a cleaned area for swimming. The house has kayaks and paddle boards for additional fun. Our kids, who were deprived of beach time last year, spent a lot of time playing on the beach. The rooms were spacious and the beds are comfortable. There are actually six bedrooms if you count the bonus room above the garage. There were a sufficient amount of clean towels and linens. The kitchen was huge and well-stocked with silverware, pots, and glassware. The dishwasher and washer and dryer were in great condition. My only suggestion is that the knives need sharpening and bedrooms need small garbage bins/ wastebaskets. Adam and his wife Kelly were gracious hosts. They checked on us while we were there and asked us if they could do anything to make the stay better. There was a slight hiccup in the check-out process but they graciously took care of it. We much appreciated their kindness. Overall, it was a memorable stay for us. Thank you, Adam and Kelly, for this amazing experience.
