We are a family of 4 with two teenage boys and spent 4 nights at the Old Vine House. The location is perfect - right in the heart of the old town just a few minutes walk to the sea front. The property itself is a gorgeous old place with fabulous views from the top bedroom. The aircon was very welcome as we were in Perast during several very hot days. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Thereâs a good little convenience store a few minutes walk where you can buy essentials including fresh bread, cheese, milk, cereals etc but for fresh meats you would need to travel to Kotor. Perast is a fabulous place for a few days. We loved the boat tour to the blue caves and chilling at the beach club. Would highly recommend.
The place was great we had a problem with shower in 1 bathroom and it was fixed immediately .Everything was fabulous position great communication excellent and importantly in the extreme heat air con efficient .An authentic vibe !
We spent 2 nights at the Old Vine House - right in the middle of the picture postcard beautiful town of Perast. The house suited us perfectly, clean, comfortable, well equipped and lots of room - the spiral stair case could be an issue for very small kids or anyone with mobility issues (that's made clear in the info anyway) but was totally fine for us. Ray was really helpful and so was Stefany who let us into the house and showed us round. We managed to leave a couple of things behind when we left Perast but were able to get hold of Ray quickly who arranged for us to pop back and pick them up - he was really accommodating. It's quite an expensive little town (a couple of truly stunning hotels) but for the location and quality of restaurants, the pricing was fair enough - it really was a dreamy location. We took the boat trip out to the little Island - Our Lady of the Rocks - super inexpensive at 5 euro each return and well worth if for the gorgeous views. We also swam at the far end of the town - like lots of the coast, just steps down into the sea - the water was so clear & lovely. All in all would highly recommend - very covetous of having a bolt hole in such a beautiful spot!
Perast is the place to stay in the area. Incredibly enchanting town. The property was very quiet and has stunning bay views from small top floor window. Slept well in the comfortable beds.
Negatives were: kitchen level was dark and smelled of mildew. We didnt cook so it wasnt too much of an issue. Also, the internet didnt work.
