I had contacted the host asking if i could view the property before booking- she said no
I knew the area and the lofts from outside, so i booked it for a week. on day of check in i called her to ask if i coudl check in early, the apartment was clean and no guests were there but i was not alllowed to check in early ? I had to go to her house to fetch keys, not a lockbox at the apt, she did not meet me- there was no welcome gift of any kind, no coffee machine. the heat/ ac only reaches the downstairs, not the master bed upstairs, the street noise and garbage trucks as its on the 2nd floor, there is parking that is one nice thing, it is large, teh stains in the guest carpet are just not ok - the manager/ host is who i had the problem with, she said on the phone "am i going to have a problem with you "? i have never been spoken to by anyone like that , so disrespectful and rude- she is so lazy she cannot even bring a key nor greet the guest. Anyhow, i spent a good 2 hours calling VRBO telling them i was checking out- asking Allison for a refund, she said no.. she sent me text and text.. then i have argued for 2 months with my bank to keep my money.. a complete disaster. such a waste of my time and so stressful. I then had to find a quiet , calm as advertised place with hospitality. This is not a managing company - and my time is something i cannot get back
