Duxton 2 night stay

Beautiful river view room, very comfortable bed and delicious food in Firewater restaurant. Extensive breakfast buffet, eggs cooked to orders nice extra. Great stay.

When we arrived in our room there was a dirty hand towel with pubic hairs on it. We went to reception and they tried to rectify the situation quickly. However the pubic hairs were left on the bench and hair still in the shower. This left us with a very grossed out feeling and not actually sure if they cleaned the room at all.

The room service was excellent and food prepared in a timely manner. Clean, comfortable, spacious facilities. The only improvement I would suggest is to replace the plastic kettle with a stainless steel one.
