Unique agritourism hotel across from Umbria airport. Beautiful gardens, large rooms, nice dining. Suggest to rent a car at the airport and drive to Assisi and other towns. Landscape is beautiful. Only con for this hotel is there is no lift so if you have heavy suitcases it is difficult. Property also has lovely pool and sitting areas. Restaurant serves same menu each day so if you are staying many days food is limited. If you are going to Assisi I recommend the PicNic restaurant which is on your way from the hotel. Excellent food but make reservations!

This is a lovely hotel right next door to the airport. I had a 5 minute walk which is incredible. The staff are very polite and very accommodating to my limited Italian. The food was excellent, and the wine was reasonable. I would DEFINITELY stay again.

Wouldn’t recommend

We payed for a suite and we got a room for people with disabilities for the same price. They promised to give us something on the house for the money difference, b cause obviously the room we got was cheaper, but that didn’t happend. When we arrived, we’ve found out that actually our reservation was cancelled, even though the money were not returned into our account and one day before arrival, we received an email saying that our stay is guaranteed.

Fabulous

A really lovely place that I cannot recommend enough. I booked it because it was close enough to the airport for us to walk to after arriving at 9pm and then pop back to get the hire car next morning. As soon as I booked I had a lovely welcome message and that set the tone. We booked dinner and even though our flight was delayed an hour in the jubilee chaos, it wasn’t a problem. Perugia airport is tiny with infrequent flights so the location is quiet and lovely. Our rooms were modern, spotless and attractive, with lovely showers and really comfortable beds. We had breakfast the next morning and then chilled by the pool for a couple of hours. Although we were just passing through this would be a great location to base yourself for a holiday in Umbria and Tuscany. Thank you for a fabulous stay

Hidden Gem

Needed a hotel near to the airport for our last night in Umbria and found this one on expedia. It could not have been better. It ticked all the boxes. Really helpful staff and slightly quirky arrangement added to a fabulous but all too short stay. Excellent restaurant with small but superb menu (not a pizza in sight)

A slice of paradise in Umbria

Charming, clean, and beautiful property. Incredible homemade lunch and dinner. Very friendly and helpful service. Great pool. And perfectly situated between Assisi and Perugia. Only negative is that the beds are on the hard size (this tends to be the norm for italy thought)

Lovely hotel, great place to spend the night

A lovely small hotel within walking distance of the airport La Locanda Paradiso offers an enchanting mix of traditional and modern. A glass staircase combined with bare brick walls, a lovely restaurant with glass floor over the cellar below all combine with a bright quirky room to make this a very enjoyable place to stay. Friendly attentive staff add to the experience though you do need a car as both Perugia or Assisi are some distance away.
